T	Terrence Lo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant gem with great Latin food sourced both locally and abroad. While it's in a bit of an odd location, it's walking distance from Chinook LRT station. Just walk down 61st Ave SW away from Chinook Centre and hang a right on Centre St and voila, you're there. The grocery store is pretty nicely stocked with all the basics you'd need for Latin dishes from Venezuela, Mexico, Peru and the like, but they made a real effort to outsource as well from local vendors who make artisan Latin food as well, like fillings for tacos, sauces, soups, tortillas and tamales. But what's outstanding is their cafe and kitchen where I had the pleasure to enjoy their cachapas (sweet corn pancakes with cheese and chicken, though beef and pork is available), their Venezuelan beef empanadas and black bean tacos, all washed down with Mexican mineral water. I've been meaning to go there for quite a while, but as I said, it's a funny location. Glad I finally made it, and I do plan to make it a bit more of a regular thing now that I know it's there, what they offer and their friendly hospitality. By the way, for budding entrepreneurs, they offer rental availability to their commercial kitchen. Definitely well equipped and worth a look.

I can say the whole experience was just outstanding, the coffee quality, the products' freshness, the establishment cleanliness. I found some brands from home that just simple made my day. Thank you Andreina for your personalized service and delicious arepas. ? Definitely I am coming back.

Very helpful woman guided me on a salsa for a guest coming with dietary restrictions. Wide variety of groceries, and next time I will be ordering lunch as well:-)

I had to go back and tell the owner how good the Tacos were. Portions were good and filled with flavour and the kind service and warm welcome was just bonus.

It was our lucky day when we walked into Latin Food Specialties Market and they not only had tamales but so much more. The owner was working and offered us fresh tequenos, and these were AMAZING! The sauce was delicious and bit spicy. You can ask for your spicy level. Not enough space for dining for a bunch of people. The ambiance was cool and appealing.
