History

Landen’s founding Member Greg Genereux started his first construction company when he was only 17 years old, TITA Construction, back in the late 1970s, which employed between 60 and 100 framing carpenters, framing thousands of homes and condo apartment units.

Greg then took TITA into a joint venture with Statesman Homes and eventually formed a 50% equity ownership in Statesman Developments. Five years later Greg then sold his position in Statesman and started Chandler Homes, building just under 1,000 custom homes while owning and running Chandler over a 14-year period.

G	GM on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We approached Landen design for both an addition to an existing executive home and an outbuilding complete with workshop and a vehicle lift. It was critical both projects match an existing structure. This work turned out to be more complicated than initially thought - but we were reassured with the Landen folks ability to work with the county to obtain the required permits and engineering letters to make our project move forward and they followed through. There was frequent communication with us as we moved through the design stage and the renderings far exceeded our expectations as our ideas took shape. The years of experience Landen Design provides was obvious as the project moved forward. We consulted other potential builders but the combination of Landen’s experience, frank honesty, and proven track record made us confident we chose the correct company for our projects. You will not be disappointed by choosing Landen Design.

The work was completed quickly, efficiently and on budget with the end result exceeding our expectations. Seemingly complex tasks were completed with relative ease and his innovative ideas and techniques saved us considerable time and money, a testament to his many years design and construction experience. Over the years I have found he excels at problem-solving and clearly outlining the various alternatives available for any given project. We are very happy we did, because with their creative work we now have a beautiful home that has that meets our daily needs. We are our friends cannot believe how they transformed our house from small, dark, unpractical to spacious, plenty of light, and enjoyable – see before and after pictures. We could not believe the amount of work that had to be done to transform it (3 months), but all we can say is that subcontractors were not only very diligent and professional, they all always consulted with us to ensure they were meeting our needs.

Greg and his team completely transformed our master bathroom and kitchen, gutting all the old 90s decor and (in the case of the kitchen) pushing out one of the walls 2 feet. The results were spectacular. Landen also built out a new mudroom into our oversized garage and overhauled our laundry room. It was relatively inexpensive, but very well built and looks like a million bucks. Greg also oversaw a few subcontractors he hired for some other major renos we did. The overall result was fantastic. The Landen team was professional, innovative, and hardworking. Greg always had great ideas for how to work through problems to minimize the cost while still maximizing the quality of his work. We have nothing but good to say about their work and we're already planning on using them again for a few additional renovations.

We kind of had an idea of what we wanted but his suggestions really put the finished product over the top. The cottage ceiling was gorgeous, the addition of higher baseboards and the closet organizers were a real bonus. He very successful sealed off the entrance to the basement so we were able to live through the renos with comfort and ease. We are extremely happy with this company and would highly recommend them.
