Their management, brewery and wait staff all seem to have a cohesive flow that makes you feel like you’re in an establishment run by a big happy family which makes you feel right at home as you’re being seated. Tessa G, the head brewer, has perfected her beer recipes to a point where you’re excited to sample every single flavour on the menu. “Clean and crushable” is her motto and it holds true as her beers have reliable flavour consistency year-round. It’s truly hard to pick a favourite here. Her seasonal, hand-foraged ingredient beers never disappoint and always leave you looking forward to what’s up her sleeve the next time you visit. The bright atmosphere, freshness of their menu items paired with Tessa’s beer makes you feel refreshed and elevated after a meal out at Land & Sea, rather than heavy and tired like you might experience from a more traditional pub experience. I highly recommend this place for a variety of age groups! I’ve seen parents take their parents out for a bright and light Sunday lunch and a pint as well as a giddy girls night out in Comox. There’s such an eclectic crowd that moves through Land & Sea I’d say that its worth a try so you can see for yourself.

We were visiting from out of town and she WROTE us a list of local recommendations. We hit them all up over the weekend and had a great time! Very thankful we encountered her!

Tunes playing are always great. A true 20 oz pint. Prices include tax. Thats the best brew pub pricing around. Jason and his very knowledgeable staff will make you feel like you've been coming here for years. And you should start. The kitchen. While its not a large menu. Every dish is made to perfection Go for the Nachos, huge and lots of flavour. Now the beers. The Hop God have blessed this place with true liquid explosions of flavors. Unlike some brew pubs that have only 1 beer thats a hit. Here, every beer is knockout. Lets face it, girls (Tessa) makes great beer. I can only sum them up, as clean and crisp.

It quickly fell below- the atmosphere, food, drinks, and overall vibe was bland. The presentation of the place is great. The food presentation is nice.

I was so excited to try the beer, I was half done before I remembered to take a photo. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit to try different beers and menu items.
