★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spotted this place on my way to visit my parents and decided to stop in. Very nice atmosphere. They did a great job making a nice spot to have a beer in downtown comox. Beers have a little ways to go in my opinion. All abv is quite low most under 5% which is a little strange (except imperial stout) . I had a flight with the wild saison, juicy pale, IPA and imperial stout... I didn't really love any of them but I'll definitely be back to see how the beers progress. Cheers!

This is EASILY the best place to have an afternoon beer with some friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good beer, great location. Limited food menu. Great staff(one person). Comox is oooooold, so i understand their market. An edgier offering or two would be awesome. Well worth walking up from the marina between boat drinks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beer, friendly staff and now Benino Gelato, (which is located across the parking lot) serves appetizers. Stop in for board games, theme nights and beer-buzzed conversation in downtown Comox. Oh, here's an update: New brewer! He has nearly 2 decades of experience and he was last at White Sails in Nanaimo. Expect some changes for the good. The new Goose Spit hazy pale ale is off the charts! Try the pretzel with the beer cheese, just trust me on this one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve tried a few craft breweries on our visit, but were driving around today looking for a place where we could have a pint and bring our pup. I really think there ought to be more dog friendly patios in this region! It’s standard elsewhere, but seems to be less so here (probably to do with food/table service?).
Anyway, we ended up at New Tradition and the beer was terrific. The staff were SO welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Pete the pup had a great time too. Puppy snacks and and a cool, shady snooze!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the flight for $7.50. Great way to get to know the beers here. West coast meets modern-ish brewery vibe. Lots of handcrafted furniture and neat design details like the glass bottle feature walls.
