We're Home Grown and Family-Focused
Our story officially began in 1983, when Barry Lammle and his brother saw an opportunity in the retail market - which lead them to open the first 3 stores in their hometown of Calgary, Alberta. Their mission was simple: to address the real needs of everyday Albertans - those looking for a Western retail brand that provides better service, selection, and quality. As a result, Barry spent the next 39 years creating a lifestyle brand experience that welcomes people from all walks of life.

At that time, Barry’s focus was split between retail and ranching, which put him in an ideal position to learn firsthand what our future customers valued. A rancher first, but his retail experience and expertise has always been his true strength. His understanding of his customer’s needs, and his commitment to support local businesses and communities is what has helped Lammle’s become what it is today. We take pride in the fact that those who rely on us as their western clothing supplier are the same families, friends and neighbors we’ve stood beside through decades of good times and hard times alike — and our dedicated employees in our 23 stores across Western Canada wouldn’t dream of offering them anything but our very best.

I happened to be helped by Abbey whenever I am in there. She's very patient and didn't stop until we found the right fit for both hats and boots. The only improvement that could be made would be me asking for the names of the other people who work there as they deserve some love too.

S	Stacey Johnson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner purchased cowboy boots from this store. We were told there was a 30 defect warranty. He never wore the boots other than to try them on in our house. He took them off and we sprayed the with leather spray that we have used on a leather jacket and another pair of boots. The colour on his boots flaked off in 2 places and even though the other items we sprayed were fine the warranty was not honoured as we were told it was the sprays fault - not a fault with the colour. I think this is wrong and will not shop at this store again. Either stand behind your products or warn people that leather spray should not be used.
