★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place to learn history of the area. Also, the musium has big picnic table at backyard where you can bring your lunch. Staffs there was very helpful and informative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is the $5 entry fee worth it? ABSOLUTELY. This is a wonderful small museum that packs in a lot. The outside area reminds me of Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto. The inside gallery has lots of historical memorabilia collected from residents in the area and beyond. The tall older gentleman with glasses working at the reception/welcome desk was the friendliest person you'll ever meet; unfortunately I did not get his name. Charming place that deserves a visit if you're in the area already and if you have an interest in this kind of thing. And oh, there's a really friendly black cat out in the back (outside display area) who will be happy to walk alongside you and show you around!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attended the annual Fall & Crafts show, which is held at the Lambton Heritage museum and center. Its always packed with all kinds of vendors, there's something for everyone. This year I bought a beautiful planter filled with assorted succulents.
The price I thought was very good given the size of the bowl they came in.

We were there on Sunday. We were headed to Grand Bend and thought of stopping by.
The place is wonderful; clean, and quite.
There is a picnic area with picnic tables, historic artifacts and buildings.
We parked our cars, had our brunch, took photos and headed to Grand Bend.
