Took my dog to get a tooth extracted as it was chipped very badly. The vet charged me $1000 to then only clean my dogs teeth and leave early that day for vacation and not tell me, I then had to pay another vet to remove this tooth causing problems because this vet didn't do her job like she was asked. (This vet stated it urgently needed to be removed) Livid to say the least, avoid this vet for any dental related issues. Extremely overpriced and doesn't do her job

Amazing true honest staff! Got my dog in real fast. They work well with Guests and pets. Will always drive 3 hours to see the staff highly recommend lacla biche vet!

I've always had good experience with this clinic. The staff are all friendly and nice and the vet is fantastic. They have always taken great care of my dogs.

I don't have anything bad to say about this place except for the prices, which is typical of all veterinarian hospitals. When I make an appointment I usually get in within a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I took my cat and dog here, they were immediately infected. My dog was infected that day with a inner infection i had to seek immediate medical attenion as they refused to do anything here. The vet terrible. I will drive 4 hours back to Red Deer or anywhere else in this province before entering the doors of this clinic again. They almost killed my kitten with their negligence. She busted her stitches due to their terrible stitch job & unclean environment. And refused to listen to me. About my animal and her issues. They blamed me. Charged me, a young college student who rescued my kitten from the local rescue over two hundred dollars to just wrongly again re stitch my kitten, just as I told them the stitches came out within 24 hours. They Blamed Me Again ( way to treat your clients like family ). They can't even size a cone correct for an animal. They have a terrible reputation in all of lac la biche, I have heard over a handful of horror stories since telling all my friends and family mine. Ranging from kittens to cattle they have harmed and killed with their ill way of " business ". Go the the cold lake centre veterinary hospital, they saved my kittens life after this vet treid to take it away. Please I beg of anyone who cares for their animals to stay far away from this place. I have recorded many conversations with them from the extremely rude secretary to the lying vet tech to the uneducated vet. Proving my case exactly. * I caught them in their lies ! * They caused so many issues and have caused my kitten ( & dog ) unjust pain and suffering for hundreds of dollars. They're vet is on holidays and the vet tech is running the VET clinic right now. So good luck in a emergency as they vet will text you " out of country " and not another word as your animal holds on for dear life, due to their malpractice. They don't care in anyway for you, or your animal. Thankfully other vets do, check out the bellis vet & bonnyville vet & cold lake animal centre, they actually care. And if you do love your animal avoid this " vet " * torture clinic *

Dr. Samra and her staff always go above and beyond for our dogs. I can’t Thank them enough for all that they’ve done over the years for our dogs. They are by far the absolute best! My Newf had 3 surgeries in the past 3 years, and we have NEVER had any issues with infections. His most recent was last week and he is recovering very well, his incision is very clean and healing extremely well. Our boy is 9 and able to walk and run like a new puppy because of Dr. Samra. She will forever be our Hero! Thank you Dr. Samra and team from the bottom of our hearts, because of you we still have our big boy.

Warning about the Lakeland animal hospital in Lac La Biche. We travel hours to go to this clinic due to the good service (up until today). This is our third cat that we have brought here! We have brought our cat back for a booster shot, we were charged for a physical examination and consultation. When we noticed the charge we simply asked why we were charged 75$. She checked his heart rate before the needle which we knew we had to pay for (separate charge). Over the phone she explained his heart rate was fine so she did not need to perform the physical which includes mouth,ears, temperature. There was no consultation for future visits as it was a two second needle. She stated she did not want to stress the cat out and make him agitated. It was a simple question on why we were charged for something that didn’t occur, she responded “whats your email I’ll personally refund you and do me a favour don’t come back to my clinic”. We were also informed by a local that she has a bad reputation about causing more problems during procedures. The lac la biche human society worker stated she won’t take her personal animals there for anything, she takes her animals out of town for everything. Way to put the animals first ?
