These people do unprofessional conduct of business. I rented a unit for 3 years. When I started renting it hadn't had carpets cleaned, the walls were damaged and the room had a glycol leak behind the wall near my bed. It was under construction for 2 months with workers entering my room. I was NOT reimbursed any rent or discounted for the inconvenience. NOW, upon moving I have been stuck with an extra months rent for "Improper Notice" meanwhile the "Rental Agreement" states that the tenancy agreement "terminates" on the date i vacated, thus "Notice" is NOT required. In addition they charged me for a carpet replace ( I expected cause it was ruined) more than double the cost of a typical replace for a condo this size. I suspect a friend does carpets for them and / or it wasn't even replaced and they're simply keeping money. Not a friendly way to do business or gain repeat clients and renters. I would discourage anyone from renting from this Property Management Group.

I have never dealt with a worse group in my entire life. Despite explaining my situation time and time again of living with inconvenience due to a water leak on the floors above, but the management handled this very badly with no communication what so ever from them of a time line or update, very rude people at the Laidley starting with the receptionist who was very rude and no help at all and same with all others who dont even bother picking up calls going straight to voicemails with call back messages but I got nothing, simple situation made very frustrating and dragged on and on and on for absolute no reason other then being cheapskate when things are on the other side and it's time to manage and setup work in their buildings. Overall a very bad experience and would suggest to stay away from the company at all costs,.

Update Cost of our fees are way too high for what we're getting. Now we get a call that our pipes could freeze because the while building has no heat....its -40 this week 2 days without any heat. Apparently the only part available to fix this issue is across Canada and will not be here for another day. This is unacceptable. Children and animals live here and it's FREEZING. The windows and doors are iced over and we're using electricity 24 hours a day to circulate heat. This is a fire hazard as well. People work all day and can't leave electric heating devices on. Keep our ovens turned on was the advice we were given. I'm not sure if the building owner is to blame here (I would assume) but we don't have that person's(s) info so what else are we supposed to do!? So updating for day 3...oven on... Must not have been enough to keep the pipes from bursting.... Pipe has burst in basement and there's water flooding the stairwell area! No word from the management company on this.

Updating the review upon follow up from the management. We are very pleased to get all the condo documents from Laidley Management. Nancy has been very helpful and responsive. We asked for consolidated documents and we got them in very timely manner. It just shows that she does care for her properties and her clients. Thank you.

I have never dealt with a worse group in my entire life. Despite explaining my situation time and time again, I am blacklisted from *all* their managed buildings. The vindictive landlord in charge of the complex I was in decided to give me an eviction notice. Sounds bad, right? Well, two things: 1) the time of eviction was post-expiration of my lease and 2) the reason was because of an signed agreement we came to based upon my economic hardship at the time. Of course, they don't care that I wasn't actively evicted or the reason for such action.

BEWARE Do not rent from this property company at ALL unless you want to have alot of back and forth from the management who do NOT care about the risk of your health at all. My boyfriend and I moved into their sherwood park rental without knowing that there were hot water lines running underneath our floor and in our closets. When I brought this to their attention they said that they weren't aware at all of this and when I had asked when would the issue be fixed the manager at laidley named lesley told me that she doesn't know when or how long. Ive been waiting for 2 months now and when I keep calling to ask for updates Lesley told me to STOP CALLING because she has better things to do and to just wait from Linda who told me to not ask her because she doesn't make the decisions. Her only option that she gave us was to move out because she can't tell me how long it will take to fix this issue. Please save yourself the headache and rent somewhere else. Contact me personally if you don't believe me and I will show you emails from the company with dates and proof of their lack of care they have for their tenants. I don't want this happening to anyone else so I'm more than happy to share all my evidence for those even thinking of renting anything with them.

It seems that people only leave rental management reviews when they have something bad to say. We've been renting from Laidley management for three years now and they are SO GREAT! We've lived in two separate spaces with them. The woman who runs our building is very professional, friendly, just an overall good person. We've gotten to know a few other tenants in the building and everyone really enjoys the management representative (Pamela). The building is always clean, well maintained. We had a few plumbing issues this year and whenever an issue arises, Pamela is on it ASAP and ensures we are helped in a timely manner. We are moving this month and we'll genuinely miss dealing with management. That's not something you often hear about a property management company! Definitely recommend renting in Century Ridge Apartments, also recommend the management group as a whole.

Laidley has managed my building for the past decade and they have always done an excellent job. Nancy T. Has always been reponsive and helpful. Pam the resident manager is excellent as well and i am lucky that they are involved with the building.
