Clint Robison
Sensei Clint Robison started training in Zen Karate in 1993. Now with over 20 years of Martial Art experience he became a certified 3rd degree black belt in May of 2014. Sensei Clint is a formidable tournament competitor and has several black belt grand championships in karate. Sensei Π‘lint is also a member of the Canadian Muay Thai Council as an Amateur Full Contact Kickboxing and Muay Thai competitor. With his dedication and knowledge he has gained through Martial Arts, Sensei Clint’s main focus is helping others fulfill their goals. He finds it very rewarding to see the evolution of a student through proper attitude, determination, and perseverance.
Manuel Juarez
Sensei Manuel Juarez has been training in the Martial Arts since 1993. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Kickboxing and a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do. Sensei Manuel is a two time Southern Spain Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing Champion and 2002 Spain Kickboxing Champion. He is a certified National Kickboxing instructor, as well as fitness and aerobics instructor and personal trainer in Spain. As an instructor, he has been training fighters in Spain, Finland, Ireland, Italy and Canada for 15+ years. Sensei Manuel resides at Lacombe and works as a Research Scientist at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Lacombe Research Centre.
Michael Roe
Sensei Michael Roe has over 15 years of Martial Arts experience and started training at the age of 6 under Sensei Lyle Cheney in Red Deer, Alberta. He received his Black Belt on June 28th 2009 at the age of 13, and has been an assistant instructor for over 6 years. Aside from teaching he has been actively competing at local and international level tournaments, winning both nationally and internationally. In 2010 bringing home 3 medals from the World Martial Art Games, the following year qualifying for Worlds in Cadiz Spain and placing 3rd. Although enjoying competing himself, he aims to be a role model for the students and passing on knowledge he has gained through training and competing.
Jan Roe
Jan Roe is our Office Manager. Jan is a Retired Financial Advisor, Grandmother and long time "Karate Mom". When she is not at the dojo she enjoys reading, gardening, camping and spending time with her family.
