So I walked in with a sample and a prescription for a blood drawing, waited in line. Inexplicably, there were two tellers behind the counter and one was just standing there? So I waited for a little bit and ended up speaking to the other one. She never looked at me, was really abrupt and rude, and even though there were other patients waiting she did not seem concerned about my privacy and was loudly asking about the services. I decided not to proceed since I'm paying for this, purely asked for my stuff back, and said, without raising my voice, "thanks for nothing". I think that's quite a mild way to express my frustration. She answered by actually LOSING IT and starting to scream at me at the top of her lungs while I was on my way out. What gives? I mean, what gives? I have no words. I'm sort of torn between laughing at the whole thing or just being concerned for her coworkers... She seems like a lot of fun. There's a thousand labs in town, just go elsewhere and save yourself the trouble.

we all know that having an appointment for blood or urine test is not exactly the most interesting thing. But each time i go to CDL, the service is fast and professional ... and painless.

They are super rude in how they treat the clients and unprofessional at all. The nurse injected me three times to have a blood sample. They also gave me inaccurate instructions about other urine test and they didn't even try to apologize or explain it to me more clearly when I asked for that. The worst lab center I have ever visited. I don't recommend this CDL office.

I have always been satisfied with the overall services provided by your company. Laboratoires CDL Inc. located in the Pierrefonds medical centre on the West Island has been the only place where I have been able to take my daughter for blood work ever since she was a little girl. She is terrified of this process and needs to have it done twice per year. Angelica has been helping us through this process over the years and even if my daughter is now 21 years old we still make the trip to see her. Angelica is very patient, professional and encouraging. I have had outstanding and professional service from Lydia at the Sherbrooke location. However, the three occasions in a year where she was not available were as follows: 1-October 2020 (Sherbrooke Location): •Door locked and no one present at scheduled appointment time until 30 minutes later. •Small waiting room was overflowing with no physical distancing at a time where COVID-19 cases were rising, and no one was vaccinated. •CDL employee was not aware that anyone had a scheduled appointment nor was she seeing clients on order of arrival. •Results were not received by email as agreed at the appointment and advertised on their website. 2-February 2021 (Sherbrooke Location): •Door locked and no one present at scheduled appointment time. •Price was quoted in advance and charged accordingly at appointment. Received call the next day to advise that I was charged the wrong price and that I would now need to be pay an outstanding balance after the fact. •Brought ultrasound report that day but was told that it wasn’t required. Advised the next day that it was needed after all and required to email it. •Was given wrong invoice type (as confirmed by CDL after my insurer refused the claim) so had to be reissued and I had to file the claim again with insurance. •Received call in following weeks to re-schedule the 2nd appointment for this test (which required to be carried out over 2 appointments) as it had been booked in the wrong timeframe. 3-November 2021 (CDN Location): •Contacted the day following appointment to advise of pricing error and that I would be reimbursed $310. •Inquired about updated receipt to which I was told that there would be none. Had to explain that a receipt reflecting the correct amount is required to file an insurance claim. •Even though the error was on their end, told that it was on me to request it with her manager who was not there at the time. When I explained that it was the responsibility was on CDL to deal with this matter internally, she raised her voice and went on an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful tirade about this not being her mistake therefore not hers to fix nor was it her job. This is on the extreme end of poor service. I recommend that they be avoided.

Wow what a horrible experience. Went to the one in cote de neiges !Paid $500 for lab tests to be treated like garbage. They two ladies that were there at the reception today, feb 1st 2022 at 8:30 am, were so extremely rude, they snapped if you asked them a question and give your the worst attitude. I can’t believe how people go to work with that horrible attitude and treat costumers like they are less. They don’t even say hello or look at you. They just type ask for the payment and then i asked “ will I receive the results by email “ and she snapped at me! I was so afraid to ask anything l at this point I don’t know if me and my partner will receive the tests via email. The bathrooms were disgusting too! Like what kind of health providing services has a building so dirty?!!! If you can avoid going to this labs please do. There other private labs who deserve your money. The only human customer service was provide but the male nurse who was there outside. He was very nice !

The worst receptionists service I have ever experience. I made an appointment by phone, when I arrived I asked at the reception for my appointment, there were two women talked and laughed among themselves, without paying attention to me. After a couple of minutes of standing and observing how they voluntarily ignored me, one of them looked at me and without answering my greeting, she told me to take a seat, and the nurse would call me. I waited for 35 minutes and watched as a nurse approached several time reception. Tired of waiting, I asked if at least someone could confirm if my appointment was in the system, the woman didn't even answer me, I had to assume that she understood me because she started checking the computer. A young nurse approached and asked the receptionist if the pcr madam hadn't arrived yet, because of her accent, I greeted her in Spanish and asked her if she was waiting for an appointment for an exam, she immediately asked me: "oh it's you, I've been waiting you for a long time." Very kindly, she took the sample and I received the results efficiently next day. Terrible attention by the receptionists very in contrast, thank God with the nurse. Sad for a paid service...and even if it were a social service, I am sure that these women receive their salary despite the AWFUL work they do.

1. You will see employees (at the reception desk) who were not wearing masks, during the pandemic! 2. Lack of punctuality. 3. The receptionist is extremely slow, does not want to assist, and intends to keep you waiting. 4. Despite the fact that I arrived on time for my ultrasound appointment, I was kept waiting for over an hour. Waiting that long with a FULL bladder was not pleasant. Do not hesitate if you can complete your test at another location. This centre is not something I recommend.
