Best Italian restaurant in Canada

I	Indyana Ricci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm shocked from the kindness this restaurant showed. After losing my kitten and just being a wreck all I wanted to eat was mac and cheese from la pasta. Comfort food you could say. Anyway my mom called to order, but they were closed. She explained my situation on the phone, and even though they were closed they took the time to make me my Mac and cheese. And to add didn't charge for it. I almost cried when my mom told me this. I really appreciate the kindness and generosity the restaurant showed, when they didn't have too. Also the food is just so good. I High recommend la pasta for your pasta needs He passed away, the other day. Not ran away :(

S	Sheila Xie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great pasta. I bought the butter nut squash ravioli. It was exceptionally good. I became quite picky about pasta dishes after I traveled in Italy. This dish has a lot of flavors.
S	Stan B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, 5 stars. Hygiene and food safe? Not sure. The cooks touch the food with their bare hands right in front of you. For example, they pick up the slice of pizza with their bare hands and when an item fell off the pizza (pepperoni), they picked it up with their hands. Is it too difficult to use tongs for this? I saw one of the cooks serve two individuals who were dining at the table and then he went back to the kitchen but on his way he touched one of the wood framings with his hand. Afterwards, he doesn’t wash his hands and goes back to touching the food he was preparing for me. I love the food here but would appreciate the food not being touched with hands and instead using things like tongs.

The Cesar salad is made with kale and it really changes the taste and texture to what Cesar salad should be. The menu says romaine but the box told me kale. A little disappointing.
J	Jonathan kou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pleasantly surprised! Pasta was rich and flavourful. We had the seafood fettuccine and they were generous with their portion and amount of seafood! The potato bacon pizza was also delicious. We will definitely be back to try their other menu items.
