Just came back from Spain and went to celebrate my friend’s bday at la Paella. The food was great! Don't leave without tasting the croquettes. We ordered paella a la Valenciana (my favourite) and paella de mariscos. For dessert don't miss out on the almond cake (tarta de Santiago). The best part was the service! I felt like home!

We visited La Paella as a group of four on a weekday evening and tried to taste as much as possible! Our favorite was definitely the paella with seafood! Oxtail and chorizo was also good followed by the octopus. The place also gas a decent wine selection we tried the Los Picos and loved it! Service was fast too!

Booked a reservation for a party of 2. Arrived and the table was ready. For Tapas we had the patas (fries) and the boiled octopus. Nothing great about the potatoes but the spicy homemade sauce was insanely delicious. The octopus was beyond amazing, cooked to perfection. And although slightly on the expensive side the food portion was huge. At this point the tapas were enough as a meal. Then the star of the show the Negra Pallela. When we ordered we were told it was an hour wait time and we agreed. Did not disappoint, came out with 4 jumbo shrimp and 4 clams, the clams were so fresh you could practically taste the sea. The service made this meal ever so enjoyable. The dessert however, not to the same par as the food. Would I go back for the food. Hell Yes. For the dessert. Not so much.

Everything we had from the appetizers to the dessert was terrific. The fried calamari was perfect, crispy and moist! The paella was perfectly seasoned and the seafood was nicely cooked. I will be going back to La Paella soon!

I expected more. And maybe this is where Google reviews fall short. I wonder how many people have actually been to Spain and experienced real paella. This one was as decent as it could be but scallops were not juicy, the rice was quite dry, and seafood just not as fresh as you’d want. I appreciate the effort and the ambiance created at the restaurant. I can say good thing about the pimiento stuffed with beef cheeks β€” very tender and soft, as they should be. Then shrimps pil pil style definitely missed that strong garlic flavour and salt. Lovely service that made the stay very enjoyable.

Little gem located on Queen East in Toronto! Totally recommend this spot, the Paella was excellent made with fresh ingredients. The red wine selection/list was proper but my favourite was the Licor 43 (Spanish liqueur) to help with digestion. The service was on point and the owner was super nice...a must try spot in the GTA!

Delicious food and great service. We enjoyed several dishes such as calamari, roasted peppers with beef cheeks and of course seafood paella. Loved every dish and also enjoyed some red wine sangria. Highly recommend this quaint place.

Newly in the neighborhood, we are always curious about the decor from this restaurant. So today we come to give it a go. We immediately felt like we are in Spain when we sat down The food is fresh and authentic! Service is warm and attentive too. We are definitely going back. Oh wine is great too!
