I took my partner here for a little celebratory diner. It's a cute neighbourhood Italian restaurant. The owner was very friendly and attentive. It was our waitress' first night serving as she is usually a cook in the kitchen. Despite a few bloopers, she did a great job. The complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping was tasty. Our pastas were cooked to perfection and delicious. Be forewarned that the spicy version of the puttanesca is quite spicy! We started with sharing the house special salad of mixed greens, quinoa, strawberries, manderin orange pieces, slivered almonds and a delectible dressing. I felt the pacing of our dishes arriving at the table a bit rushed, but it wasn't very busy, so I assume that's why. Better than waiting a long time for each course to arrive. I felt more relaxed once we had our mains and we were left alone to converse, laugh and linger over our bottle of wine. Our waitress recommended the tiramisu for dessert, which was not on the menu, telling us that she had made it. It was a generous portion that we shared and it was delicious. We were there on a Thursday evening, but if you come on the weekend, you will be entertained by live piano music! This restaurant also permits you to bring your own wine to drink with dinner and charges a $29 corking fee/bottle.

Me and my family had a visit to Vancouver last week and looking over our trip expenses were sorely reminded of our experience at La Notte by our overpriced bill for poor quality food. If a true Italian had the unfortunate time of eating at this place they would surely cry.

Used to be great but the quality of food drastically declined... we ordered take out, two pasta dishes and one pizza. the tortellini di notte were okay but the pasta with seafood was extremely bland but that is not the worst part of it. the pizza was a frozen and just got heated up and served to us for $15 when we could have bought one ourselves for $4. this is ridiculous and upsetting. we will not come back and do not recommend dining at this restaurant.

Absolutely a disappointment! New management . Would not return. Our food did not come out together and when it did it was not very good. We ordered a large Cesar salad and when we got our bill the owner directed the server to charge us for 3 large Cesar salads for the price of 33 $ all together! The owner came out and tried to explain why he did it. We were disgusted that he thought it was okay to add two extra salads on because we had a family of , two were young children that would not eat much anyway. Would not recommend this.

The food, service and ambiance all deserve a five star rating. We were four couples and found this gem at the last minute for dinner on a Saturday night in December close to Christmas. The only thing we missed was a square table for eight that was occupied by another group. We are definitely planning to go for an anniversary or birthday celebration.

Friends picked this place for a celebration dinner and it was soooo worth it. We each drove about 30 minutes for it. It was a little out of the way but the food, the service, the ambiance was so worth it. The food was delicious plus perfect portions and the server helped guide our decisions and was so sweet and patient. Each of us ended the night with a different type of dessert which hit the spot. The ambiance was on spot they had live music and the perfect lighting. If you haven’t checked out this place than it should be your next visit!

Nice little Italian restaurant in point grey. Has a piano player to entertain. Was able to get something off the menu (fettuccine carbonara) and it was tasty.

Ordered the Tortellini Di Notte, Vegetarian Pizza and Fettuccine Alfredo. First of all, the receptionist was extremely rude and was very impatient with my father’s accent when we ordered. He also told us that all three items were vegetarian while the Tortellini Di Notte obviously had meat in it. Service was extremely disappointing. Second of all, the Fettuccine Alfredo is extremely bland while the Tortellini Di Notte is obviously bought from Costco (we literally have the exact same pasta at our house). These two pastas are not worth the combined price of around $40. The portions are small and food is underwhelming. Not even mentioning the pizza, which is obviously store bought and small for such a price of $17. Food in small portions, with bad taste and expensive prices. Do not go to this restaurant. It is not worth your time. Both the food and service were disappointing.
