★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here and it was excellent. The manager came to talk to us when we arrived. A pleasant, friendly welcome to the restaurant. The dishes we ordered was tasty and well presented. A very good first impression.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unexpected little gem. I was around in this neighborhood and was recommended this restaurant. Classic Italian restaurant. Friendly staff and good service. Menu limited but fresh and sufficient choice. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Had bruschetta, lamb rack and tiramisu. Everything was really good. Greatly enjoyed eating here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pizza and it was more like a 4/5. Nothing to complain about, just a solid tasty pie I could eat anytime. Giving a 5 because the guy there seemed like a solid dude and I have a feeling the rest of the food is great, will be going back to try for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to have my sisters 50th birthday party at la Luce restaurant. I picked this venue because of the location and the excellent reviews on the food.
The night was an overall success but we couldn’t have done it without Carmelina. From the moment we walked in the door, she made us feel completely welcome. She made sure all of our needs were met and went above and beyond to make this celebration a special one.
Carmelina made sure our room was beautifully decorated and treated our guests with love and kindness. Her meticulous talent at perfecting every detail made us feel how much she cared about making our function a success one. She really takes the stress off of the event planning. She completely set up our room the night before to ensure we did not have to worry about the details. I want to say thank you to the staff of la Luce, but I want to give a special thank you to Carmelina. We couldn't of pulled it all off without her and we will forever be grateful to Carmelina for her amazing talents, support and professionalism.
If you are looking to do any type of an event I would highly recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service here was nice. Their pizza tasted pretty good. The main course was a slice of chicken with broccoli and veal with gravy on top. This was a solid dish, but the veal was somewhat forgettable (it was my first time trying veal). They gave us Penne pasta and this tasted pretty good, but I was surprised that they appeared to not make a lot of this pasta when the dinner I attended seated about twenty people. The person I sat next to was given just one scoop of pasta. Admittedly, the Penne wasn't supposed to be the main dish so this would explain why there was not a whole lot between all the guests.
Overall, I was happy with my time at this restaurant. If I was invited here again, I'd attend.

We just had a family dinner of 36 to celebrate an anniversary and our host Carmelina was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to host a memorable party!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got take-out from La Luce and found the pasta very mediocre considering the steeper prices.
I got the Linguine which disappointingly only had two scallops. The shrimp was flavourful but the pasta itself was bland and very oily.
My partner had the Chicken Alfredo and found it tasty but the sauce was overly runny.
The romaine for the Caesar salad was crisp and fresh and the pieces of 'parmiggiano shards' were very tiny. The creamy dressing we presume was made in-house as it was decent.
I believe that dining-in would have offered a much more pleasurable experience since many of your reviews of in-house dining are quite positive. We hope to give it another try when things open up. Looking forward to that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Luce Ristorante hosted my mother's birthday party. They did a fantastic job accommodating our party of 25 people. Carmelina and Richard were very helpful and forthcoming for all the various details we presented them with. On the day the serving staff were friendly and very helpful. The venue is well appointed and very comfortable place to be. The food was well prepared and served hot and was very delicious. They have an out of this world pizza oven that makes the most delicious pizza that i have had in a long time.
Even if you weren't going to plan an event there you owe it to yourself to go for dinner. It is a sparkling neighbourhood gem hidden away in a nondescript strip mall, but once you discover it you will be going back many times. Bravo La Luce Ristorante for a job well done and thank you.
