★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful room, very modern (yet close to nature) and full of light, in perfect taste. Location is a bit far from anything I would want to visit, but the hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. We were there for a wedding and the venue itself was perfect for that purpose, and I would not hesitate to organize a social event there. Service was efficient and very professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an excellent stay for a Conference. The banquet food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meeting rooms were comfortable and bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. The local town, while small had plenty of amenities. A nice setting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel experience was quite positive. A daily replacement of the coffee pucks would be nice, and a kettle for tea would also be welcome improvement. The restauarant however could not have been more rude. I made a reservation and when I showed up at the reservation time I was scolded to think they could seat me when they had a large party arrive late and they still hadn’t taken their orders. I got an earful of everything that was troubling the shockingly rude woman at the front desk, and told there was no way they could seat me. So I went away and I will never return to that restaurant, Ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard good things of the hotel so I decided to stay in for a couple of days. I arrived yesterday was well greeted, the room is spacious and everything seems fine. I went to sleep and set the alarm at 8am... I was woked up by the sun in the room that seemed so bright I thought I went past 8, when I check it was 5h30. The curtains cannot go over the window so there's only blinds to cover the window and they dont block the sun... when I told the receptionist she asked me what was the problem. I had to ask to be changed room and when I went back at noon still the room was not prepared. I spoke to the supervisor that said they're renovating and it should be fixed soon but that's something people usually like. For a reputated hotel I'm surprised to hear I should like being awaken at 5h30 by the sun even though I didn't ask for it. I'm very disappointed so far with my stay at the hotel.

But the restaurant for dinner ... This was one of the biggest disappointments after I have read so many good reviews about it
1. The food is average at best
2. The service is painfully bad, except for a younger waiter who really was trying his best.
Kudos, young man
3. And omg so funny and awkward - the vineyard restaurant doesn't carry their own wines in the menu
Right after dinner we cancelled our breakfast booking - I prefer to pay Tim Hortons rather then leave money at a place where we don't feel welcome
*on a separate note - cleaning stuff in the corridors chat and laugh out loud like they are on a friendly stroll at a park, they do not greet visitors and make them feel like a nuisance
If my review will be read by hotel management - folks, you have serious problems with service, apart from reception - they were quite efficient

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there for a family vacation. The Chalet we took was not clean, with chips behind the couch and dust everywhere, the cable for the tv was not working, the private Jacuzzi was dirty on the walls and smelled like intense chemicals and the bbq was not clean, with spider web hanging from the handle. In addition, remnants of food were all over the outdoor space. The windows on the top had dead flies.
We reached out to them with these issues and they barely fixed anything. We emailed them a complain and they gave me a 16 dollar refund!
The only good part was the staff for the restaurant.
I am quiet sad that the experience turned out like that and I hope they fix these issues.

Supper was formal events and we are serve with peoples wearing T-shirt with advertisements on it.
For dessert they serve sugar pie worth about 10 cents of sugar for a meal that cost 95 dollars...
La cache a Maxime is more like a cheap motel/hotel with a BIG BIG BIG price tag
