★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered home delivery and got a Bento Box which included miso soup. The worst miso soup ever, the dashi used (IF used) had no taste, like dish water, it went straight into the garbage. The shrimp and veggie tempura were edible. The chicken was old and dried out and it joined the soup in the garbage. The rice was barely edible. Very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never had a chance to dine in, so I can't really speak on wait time/ customer service. In regards to quality of food, Kyoto is up there. It's difficult finding a sushi spot with fresh tasting sashimi in Brampton/ Georgetown. Kyoto has been my go-to for sashimi. The Salmon Lover tray is delicious and you can never go wrong with yam rolls!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to treat my family with sushi tonight but had to use skip the dishes as I’m unable to drive to pick up due to an injury. My order arrived and it was missing two items so of course I called the restaurant. First they argued with me saying that the lady who packed the bag remembered putting the items in the bag and then when I insisted that they weren’t delivered and requesting for them to send them I was told there’s no way that they can do a second delivery because nobody can drive the items over. I was forced to request a refund through skip the dishes which I’m also not happy with because now I have credits for an app that I don’t ever use rather than having my money back or the missing items which were my sons meal. I will not recommend ordering take out from Kyoto simply based on the guys response to my issue this evening and their poor customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Based on food and takeout experience. Takeout was busy but poorly organized adding to a poor experience, but to me that's minor. Ive eaten at over 50 sushi resturants and this sadly ranks near the bottom. Miso soup was probably the worst I've ever had. Overall the rolls are overstuffed with too much rice. Sweet potatoes maki rolls were soggy and mushy tasting, couldn't even eat them. Spicy salmon rolls had 0 kick or heat. Salmon was so so. Overall, won't go again, even to give another chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Kyoto’s, a restaurant I’ve been to and ordered from monthly. I saw the menu change,. An item I order a lot was now listed as CRAB STICK when it use to say CRAB MEAT.
I called to inquire. The employee stated that no product has changed but that they had to list the item as ‘crab stick’ because a customer was really sick due to an allergy for an ingredient in ‘crab stick’.
I asked what a crab stick is. They lady said it’s not real crab, it’s imitation made from a cheap fish (her words not mine). She went on to say that because it was listed as crab meat a customer ordered it. They became very ill and needed emergency care.
I asked why the price was price was not lowered since it’s not crab meat. She said ‘people don’t know it’s not crab’
They are still pretending its real while charging the premium. Rolls are priced high regardless if the roll has real crab in it or not.
Pretty disappointed because ive Ordered and thought it was crab meat I was paying for.
Advice - Go down the street to Yo Yo sushi. They don’t fool around and advertise fake items as real. They use real quality products.
Kyoto is garbage !

smile lol but, they are all very efficient and relatively quick even when it's busy.
The food we had was great no complaints you'll definitely enjoy it here.
