★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to come into and look around. Staff gave a great presentation on bears, wolves and cougars. Unfortunately the restaurant and gift shop are no longer open but that makes it feel more genuine and not a tourist trap. Cost for the park is around $15 for a family pass and is good throughout the park until 4pm the next day. The center is free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stop. Must see. Interesting. We don't get up here enough but stop here every time. So well done and interesting. And walking the beach is stunning. Short trip over to Tofino or Ucluelet. This is a beautiful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning location on the sandy shores of Wikkaninnish Beach the visitor center is the focal point of the past present and future of west coast British Columbia.
I was most impressed with the very strong focus on the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations people who have called this place home for over 5000 years. Stunning murals, sculptures, artifacts and story boards immerse you in the education.
Also the land and marine wildlife educational component of the centre is world class. When the first nations sections added in the whole place rivals any museum.
The Visitor Centre guide is very knowledgable and helpful so be sure to chat with them. Lastly don't forget to enjoy the upper viewing rooms looking out across the huge waves of the shoreline and the outer decks as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach adjacent to the visitor center is a great place to come and relax and take in the views of the ocean.
We were here for a sunset on our last visit and will never forget the awesome views.
Definitely a place to discover if you're visiting florencia beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were just amazed looking at the waves on one stormy day! The visitor centre was closed but the deck is at the perfect place for watching the waves and having a cup of coffee..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As of June 2022 the place looks abandonend. What is relevant to visitors is the observation deck of the building . You can see from there the whole beach. The beach is part of the Pacific Rim Nature Reserve and the parking is for a fee (like all the sites of the reserve). Beautiful beach, highly recommended.
