★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The manager has an issue with me brining in a small bag with alkaline water in it for my daughter. I showed him what was in the bag. He said I couldn't take the bag in. We were parked 2 blocks away and the show was ready to start. I had to take the bag back to my car before entering the theatre.
In days where do few attend theaters, he would have been wise to make an allowance for us. We bought 4 of the 7 tickets for the show. I will not support this establishment again. Hello Netflix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This theatre is so easy to buy your tickets online ahead of a show. You can pick your seats with your group. Then it is fast and easy to buy popcorn and treats before heading into the theatres. I really appreciate how they increase the show frequency during school breaks with lots of matinee options.
Staff at the door are friendly and check vaccine passports and IDs, and also they are quick to serve up popcorn for hungry kiddos. Thank you Kootenay Centre Cinemas!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to a lot of theatres all over North America and I can honestly say that my hometown of Castlegar has the best! The new recliner seats are amazing! So much room, so comfortable! Tickets are generously priced under $10. The only critique is that the ticket line should be separate from the concession line to keep things moving along.
