We appreciate Kootenay Murphy Beds' personalized service, the uniqueness of our piece, the ease of ordering, and the fact they are a local company. The spring mechanism is engineered to be robust and dependable and very easy to use. Installing a murphy bed in our office/den allows us to use the space daily while being ready for company. From ordering to delivery and installation, service was professional, responsive and very friendly. We highly recommend this company!

I have been wanting a Murphy bed for years to finally get the much needed floor space that I needed for other things other than sleeping! When I saw this design of Kootenay Beds, my eyes popped out my head. Beautifully crafted, gorgeously multi lightly-coloured stained wood, and an appearance that warms the room and the heart. These custom made beds are a work of art. We consulted many times with Ramona...she has an eye for both colour and the grain of the wood, and would offer expert advice for the effect we were trying to achieve. I knew from the moment I saw this bed that I would be looking no further. And to add to its craftsmanship and beauty, it is a cozy nest that brings good snuggly sleep

From start to finish, Ramona and Alan were so accommodating with my specific requests, responsive to questions and details, and just lovely to work with. The furniture that arrived exceeded my expectations and I just love what they have created. This is clearly a labour of love, with Alan’s creativity shining through in the designs and Ramona’s in the attention to detail in the stains and the aesthetic. I can’t stop showing off this beautiful, functional and now totally modular space they have created. Thank you so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are very happy with our queen wall bed that was installed in our basement. It truly makes our basement a multipurpose space - guest suite, home gym, rec room and office space. Ramona was very helpful in the design aspect and we are very happy with the stain colours that she suggested based on our space. We were pleased with the installation done by Allen and would recommend a bed like this to others!

We very much appreciate that our bed will last many lifetimes as it is made from real wood - not pressed board. The design is exceptional. It was fascinating to watch the installation process and see just how well our bed is constructed. We highly recommend this excellent local business and its wonderful, personable owners!!!
