If you rent one of those buldings you'll have some issues when its time to the payment a lot of confusion and also they just won't fix the issues in the appartment like window leak bugs infestation old carpet in the floor mold between windows..

They post ads all over Kijiji, saying "urgent" however once an application is put in they will not get back to you. After calling I was told that there is nothing available and to keep looking. Well get your ads off Kijiji then. I wouldn't wast my time with these guys.

They have their ads all over Kijiji and Facebook marketplace stating that they have available units. They donโ€™t. Save your time and effort and go elsewhere. I called and asked if there are any units that fit my criteria (1-2 bedroom, 2 parking spaces). They said they wonโ€™t discuss what they have available until they have a completed application. This shouldโ€™ve been my first red flag, but as a renter, I understand that landlords/property management companies donโ€™t want to waste their time. However, I filled out the application with all of my personal information, sent it to them via email, and didnโ€™t hear anything for over a week. I finally called them and not only was the lady answering the phone absolutely rude, but all she said was โ€œwe donโ€™t have anything availableโ€. Hung up. So now they are sitting with my information and they never had any units available to begin with. A waste of time and a definite violation of privacy to ask to collect personal information that way.

I contacted them after almost 2 years of hearing nothing back. Mary was her name. She was extremely rude and ignorant towards me and the questions I was asking. She has no care or concern with helping people out she just tells you to fill out an application. Iโ€™ve filled out 2 in 2 years and she then told me they get rid of them after 3 months.. no where at all is that posted on there ads anywhere which makes absolutely no sense. Terrible experience and I hope Mark and Stan the owners see this and do something about it.

It's great for basic BASIC living. But they fall short when it comes to really shining with quality of living and integrity. The apartment I reside in is comfortable and for the price, great. And I have to admit my neighbors have been amazing. But we are all tired of the problems which seem small but after a while the problems start to add up with micro managing their residents freedoms and penny pinching that hurts residents. Laundry facilities: a very essential facility for quality of life. The problem is the machines eat money intermittently, and when you call the office you're told "you're the only one with the problem" (which is a lie) and if the machine "works" when they send someone out, you don't get your money back, even if you tell them the problem is INTERMITTENT. The dryer cycles don't dry, so often for one full load of laundry washed and completely dry you're paying $5-6 for one load. (On top of loosing money that the building management will not refund you losses) Parking: there are 4 visitor spots for 41 units and a few people have more than one vehicle so there simply isn't enough parking spots... And if a neighbor doesn't use their parking spot, we recieved noticed that despite paying for your parking spot, you are not allowed to decide who parks in your parking spot and are not "allowed" to let neighbors use your spot. Which seems ridiculous when your own personal parking spot should be yours to decide who parks there. This seems to be hit and miss with complaints so it often is directed at certain residents. Children: children are not permitted to play on the property. There's no area to play. You will receive a notice that children are not to play around the building. Summer: $80 extra charge each month if you have an air-conditioner installed (and you're restricted on the BTU allowed and only allowed 1 per unit... Must be inspected by the building and installation inspected.- off the top of my head I can't recall the BTU, but I do recall that it simply wasn't enough for the size of the apartments.) -You're not permitted a small deep freezer either. -No elevator so NOT wheelchair Accessible and those with disabilities that make stairs hard may have great difficulty. -laundry is only permitted till 9pm That said: as a roof over your head, good neighbors, and value vs the area average for rent: it's not a terrible apartment. There are definitely worse out there. It's mostly a disappointment. This building management could do so much better with improving facilities, make a commitment to beibg honest and having integrity when it comes to resident complaints, and finding a parking solution with local businesses.

Can't say enough good things about Klemencic Builders. Smooth process during planning and once build started immediate and thorough response to any concerns or questions. Nathan K and Nathan L are nothing but true professionals. We've had association with 2 of their builds over the past 3 years: high quality and great neighbourhoods!
