β β β β β Stayed there in August 2018. 15$/night.
Access to the site is tricky by bicycle (3km of gravel road and steep climbs). No water (filter from the lake or bring your own!), pit toilets, table and fire pit for each site.
Access to lake is easy and some spots are right on the shore.
Campground was full at 5pm on a Tuesday.
Rather calm as some sites are spread out around the lake.
Nice tiny turtles to observe in the lake!

β β β β β I live on the coast and always hear nice things about Klein Lake. However on in 2019 & 2020 I've tried to stay and been disappointed. No reservations, no information about availability online or on the phone... So the only option is to drive all the way out and find all 23 sites full already.
Both times were on a week day, and both times I arrived mid-day (not particularly late).
Most of the campsites we're set up looking like folks had moved in, no idea how people get a site here?

β β β β β Loved this campsite. Spacious sites. Beautiful lake, very swimable. Would definitely come back. The road in is very narrow and bumpy. Not good for any large motorhomes.

β β β β β Very pretty and would be great for longer stays (we were there just one night), but quite hard to manoeuvre a tow trailer in many of the sites (ours is only 15' long!), and BEWARE of and don't miss the sign that says "No camping beyond this point", as the road quickly becomes very bad.

β β β β β Great place while we were travelling up the Sunshine Coast. $15 for the night and well worth it! A little difficult going in because we have a large truck camper and canoe. Lots of low hanging branches. Great canoeing lake. Sites big and far away from each other. This is site number 17. The woman who runs this place is super sweet as well.

Lots to do around the area. We camped there for 3 days there are some nice spots with lake access.
