G	Glenn Harrington on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer experience.I ordered 85 sheets of 1 inch plywood for a building.The order was $5800.00. Order desk told me to be ready at 7 am as they leave their yard at 5 30 am. I call them at 8 am and they say it will be between 9 and 10 am no problem. A guy pokes his nose in my open shop door and grunts.Did not identify himself I had to guess Oliver Lumber. He then proceeded to ask me about "they said" I called you Friday, I said nobody called me. I said I was at my shop at 7 am as requested and he raved that he tells "them" to not say that. He was a piece of work.Dispatch knew I had no loader on site so even an order over 5k they hit me with a $125.00 delivery and unload fee. Then he refused to set the 3 lifts on my truck because it would take more time.The office claimed it was due to insurance and they do curbside delivery only. When I wanted a deliver refund due to the inconvenience it took me into the second day of phone calls to first get 125 back and secondly the HST which they missed. Inside sales tried to spin it that it was my fault and I disrupted their staff!! I left an e mail for Patrick Goodfellow to contact me as I think it's important for him to know (if he cares) how pathetic an operation Oliver Lumber is just West of Toronto.
T	Trionne Phillips on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent customer service and excellent pricing. They quoted me accurately for the material I needed and had it ready by the next day. Although I did not clearly follow the pick-up guidelines, one of the employees re-directed me to the appropriate area and another promptly delivered the material to my vehicle. I will definitely do business with them again.
F	Francis Clegg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK sales but big problem with getting the product out. We were promised constantly it would be 'next week' or 'in a couple of days'. This made it impossible to plan, and we wasted a lot of $. In the end the delay was almost 4 weeks. Some discount was given for this, but didn't really make a dent in the delay costs. It seems different parts of the business don't talk to each other - accounts, transport, sales, etc. Product is adequate.
