I highly recommend this clinic. I chose it based on the reviews and sure enough, the services rendered have been superb! Connie and her team are extraordinary. They are not only very kind but also very competent. The various treatments improved my hand, my neck and back pain. Thank you :)

She may know what she's doing.. I thought acupuncture would be like Keanu Reeves in the Matrix... BUT my friend only got one needle in his forehead with a massage. I got a needle in each hand with massage. Strange but ok. Also, i think the lady was mad at me because when she saw my red eyes she gave me an angry mother look and gave me the most uncomfortable scratch on the top of my head, I felt she was trying to make me bald!! Scared to try again :/

My upper arm and shoulder have been experiencing pain for more than 2 weeks. Connie treated my shoulder/upper arm pain within a couple of treatments. Her techniques are spot on and my pain was already better after the first treatment. Would definitely recommend for anyone with MSK pain.

Connie has been very welcoming and professional from the very start of my visits; after a few months of treatment ,I can surely say that she is providing a very effective service to my conditions (food sensitivities,pre menopause symptoms) as she is using a combinations of disciplines in Chinese medicine that gives her a better understanding of where the cause of the problem is -therefore able to treat it well; i 've been attending a few chinese acupuncture clinics along the years but Connie 's practice is amazing-very elaborate ,deep knowledge to find the root of the illness and turns into real healing for patients; highly recommended

I was suffering from a headache for a few days, and I could physically feel where the muscles hurt in my neck. So I came to this place in hopes of getting a massage to help ease the stiff muscles. I specifically asked for a half-hour _massage_ when booking my appointment. What I received was anything but. First of all, the therapist put some cups on my lower back. They hurt like hell and I asked her to take them off in a little bit – firstly, I never asked for any, and secondly, cupping has been proven to be complete BS by legitimate science. Next, she started applying crazy amounts of pressure to various points in my body, including feet, hands, chest, etc., which hurt terribly, and I screamed in pain and almost cried and asked her to stop, while being on the edge of leaving a couple of times. I told her I was looking for a _massage_ and not some weird technique, and did not need to receive crazy amounts of pain. Any normal therapist would have stopped immediately and changed the level of pressure and the approach if the patient screamed and twitched in pain as much as I did even once. But no, she carried on, even though I explicitly told her repeatedly that the pressure was too much and that I am was terrible pain from her actions. “Your pain is too strong, - she said, - just a massage won’t help”. I guess, her idea was that if she brings on a crazy amount of pain to, e.g., my left foot, that would distract me from my headache so much that I would forget about the headache. Sorry, I don’t believe in pseudo-scientific and outdated methods. I was looking for a legitimate massage that would loosen some muscles and release any potentially pinched nerves in my head and neck, not crush my right little toe. All this torture turned out to cost $70 for half an hour – while other, much more professional, massage places charge $90-$100 an hour! Half of my body, as well as my head and neck, is bruised now and I am in more pain than I was in prior to receiving this “treatment”. Not to mention my lower back is covered with terrible bruises from the cupping. Extremely painful, completely useless and on top of that, expensive – never again!

My first massage was amazing. I didn't feel the same way for 2nd and third. But after I did acupuncture treatment with Connie, she's amazing. She knows her material very well. Excellent diagnosis. I would recommend her to anyone for acupuncture. The massage is not big of a deal.

KJ acupuncture was recommended by a good friend of mine 2 years ago and I would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat as well. I’m very happy and satisfied with Connie’s treatment. I’m always suffering with lower back, shoulder and neck pain due to scoliosis and I always find a remedy through KJ acupuncture. Recently I experienced knee pain and it went away after a couple of acupuncture. My mother who’s 77 y/o found Connie’s touch amazing and she heals all her problems with her arthritis and even breast pain. Connie’s treatment made her shoulder and back straight again. I also bring my children to see Connie and she also treats their sports injury. Connie is amazing!!!! And Michael is very accommodating and friendly, if an appointment is needed, he will respond to you right away.

I have been going to KJ Acupuncture and Massage Clinic since the beginning of the year, and I haven't looked back. I feel like a new woman every time I walk out of this clinic! Connie is truly an expert of her craft. Booking an appointment is seamless as I just inquire via text, and my appointment is booked just like that. Once the session begins, Connie asks where the problem areas or pain on my body is located, she finds the target point, then uses her knowledge of the body to relieve the pain. Initially I asked for acupuncture upon my first visit but she mentioned she only uses it if necessary. The next few sessions we've only used a needle once or twice to fully relieve an area, cupping was done once, but it's not always a necessity. She stretches your body carefully, and applies a lot of pressure to problem areas to ensure full relief. Connie examines the rest of the body, and once that's complete, another masseuse comes in to complete the session with a relaxing massage. Eva is my favourite for relaxing massages! She targets the ENTIRE body. I haven't experienced this from other massage clinics before. I got a mild concussion back in the summer, came to KJ & felt renewed right after. When I came back for my next session, Eva followed up and asked how my head was doing--it's awesome that she remembered! They do online billing with most insurance providers as well so it's super convenient! If you're looking for instant relief in problem areas and a relaxing massage to follow, this is the place to go.
