★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to share my experience here, that’s honest. The centre has four great councillors- Chris, Nicole, Deb and Randy, who essentially “run the show.” The centre follows the ACT methodology. It’s what’s taught from 9-12 pm. It’s a terrific value system to live by. It’s not a 12 Step program. I’m thankful for the excellent counselling offered pretty much all day. I’m grateful to have gotten the help.
The bad:
The food is horrible- not a chef, relatively high fat reheated prepared frozen food: Hotdogs, frozen pizza, all frozen vegetables. If you’re cool with eating garbage, then no issues. I brought my food after day one. No snacks were provided at all-
The woman's accommodation is one large room with five beds( not the pics listed) that’s the men’s side. The bedding and pillows are disgusting. The beds are all singles. Bring your bedding.
The house is not kept up, so be prepared to clean yourself. The cleaning lady is sweet as pie but doesn’t clean at all.
There’s no pool- it’s never been open -
There’s no new gym- it’s been “almost opening” forever. The treadmill is broken, and it's in a dark basement. There is no daily yoga.
The sales ppl will tell you whatever you want to hear… remember at the end of the day; it’s a business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words truly cannot express how grateful I am to the amazing staff at CFHH.I walked through the doors feeling defeated and left with a beautiful new perspective on life. I am so thankful they lead with kindness and compassion. The property is spectacular, and the classes are really informative. Lisa welcomed me in the house with friendly and encouraging words. Nicole and Tera are wonderful, they both take the time to listen and reflect with you in group. Randy and Debra are remarkable, they take your life seriously. Ken and Rob do a wonderful job not only ensuring clients are well fed but they greet you everyday with the best smiles. Shannon and Kithu are so friendly and will go above and beyond for you. Rachel is a phenomenal teacher! Rachel plans very thoughtful activities for the group that really help the healing process, she'll end up becoming your biggest cheerleader. I'm new to the aftercare program but so far I enjoy it. Julia is a great teacher and is very helpful when you reach out.
I will always remember my time at the Kirby Estate with fondness and gratitude. Thank-you to ALL!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely special. I was a client here, a person who came in so broken I didn’t know what to do with my life. This place saved me. The treatment I got is priceless. The counsellors really do care about you and put their heart into everything they provide for you. Not only do the counsellors care but every staff member from the nursing staff to the chefs. This was my first treatment but from all those I met that have been to multiple, they all feel the same about how much the program works. If you need a safe place where people actually care about you and your progress to being your authentic self, I definitely recommend CFHH. Thank you for bringing me back to my true self.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am happy that I chose Kirby Estate Addiction Center when I was ready to get sober. Their facility exceeded all of my expectations. All the staff members, the groups, the speakers, the accommodations, the food, the location… everything was above par. From the moment I walked in, I felt safe, comfortable and welcomed. There is a real sense of community, which is so important in the first 30 days of sobriety. They provide you with the tools you will need to stay sober after you leave. What a beautiful place to get sober!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a family member treated at Kirby Estate Mental Health & Treatment. The experience was outstanding. Unfortunately, this wasn't our first attempt at trying inpatient treatment for addictions and co-existing disorders, far from it. We'd been through four separate treatment centres in the Ontario area. However, the staff at Kirby were the first ones to really take their time to understand. And to care. They treated our nephew as an individual; they took the time to understand his position, his needs and adapted their program around that. Everything was completely tailored to him from beginning to end. Was it hard? yes, at times, it was. There were many ups and downs. But throughout his stay and treatment, he's changed in such a profound way that this time we feel it'll stick. The aftercare program is also outstanding. I can't recommend Kirby and the team enough. If you or your loved one has an issue with addiction and/or a concurrent disorder, give them a call. It's a truly life-changing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can not speak highly enough of Kirby Estate Addiction Center. Every member of the staff treats you like family. They genuinely care about their clients. They often went out of their own wallet to help me with whatever problems I was having. They went out of their way time and time again to assure I had everything I needed when I needed it. The house you stay at is super clean and super comfortable. I looked forward to going to the center every day. Great food, great staff, and great facilities. I would highly recommend it, perfect for getting clean.
