The kids love the rides and we had a picnic and played frisbee and it's just a nice family place to go

So much family fun! Wish City of Saskatoon would open it up this summer! I know it's uncertain times, but as you can see from our photos from previous years, social distancing IS totally possible! It would be a fun and safe outing for families...with a simple and quick wipe down... masks mandatory, of course! The rides, that is, not the playground!

Daughters favorite place. The geese feces everywhere wasn't pleasant but the kid loves the zip line and big slide. Don't sit on the grass whatever you do.

Great venue for enjoying the outdoors! There is a large field, playground with a fun zip line for the kids. The train around the park is a nice touch.

Pretty clean, well maintained park. My kids had a great time. It was really nice to see the varying ethnic groups all in one place hanging out and playing together. Peaceful.

Love this park! We always have a blast when going. My niece loves the rides, and the tickets are reasonably priced. You can get 12 tickets for $25. Plus the tickets don't expire so if you don't use all of them, you can keep them for some other time. The train is good however it needs some attention when it goes around the curves as it squeaks really bad. But overall a great place for kids and for a picnic.

Meewasin park in itself is incredible. Bathrooms available but we’re out of toilet paper during the childrens festival. The festival itself was great fun with lots of activities for the kids and of course the rides. However, there was only 1 food truck available for thousands of people. They had snow cones for sale. No other water was visibly available for all those people which I find completely unacceptable as it was 27C and full Sun. You could have filled a cup at the splash park I suppose if you could get to it over the kids running underneath.

Always a fun time, with the nephew or adults. Lots of parking. Clean facilities. Awesome greenspace with playgrounds and splash park. Rides are always fun no matter the age. Great views of the river from the ferris wheel. A classic Saskatoon picnic spot.
