My daughter (18 months old) is currently with Kids & Co on a part time basis (split between Vancouver & Richmond locations as they are very busy) and we are very pleased with both locations. We previously sent her to CEFA Cambie which was a complete nightmare. Things I am impressed with Kids & Co are: 1) The director and staff in general truly care about the kids (I can say this because I have seen another place where staffs are totally different). They spend the time to talk to us to report how the kid was doing during the day (not just a meaningless report or ask you to send them any questions via emails). I saw there were comments about their kids getting running noses when they pick them up, my experience is that it's still way better than the other day care. 99% of the time we pick my daughter up with a fresh face and diaper already changed. I am okay with the 1% where she might not be completely clean. She is a kid who runs around at the end of the day. 2) They respect parents. When we have concern, they listen and follow up with us (again, not just telling us to send them an email). They never use "we are busy" as an excuse. 3) They offer "shopping day" once a while (not exactly sure how often yet) for some Saturdays to give parents an opportunity to take few hours off to have lunch or catch up on things. It's a nice touch I think 4) While they don't have the fanciest or "private school-like" facilities, the place is clean and well equipped.

I was on their waitlist for almost two years, having paid their $2375 deposit for my infant. When I decided that I wouldn't require their services even if I got a spot, I cancelled the waitlist spot and requested my deposit back, as per their guidelines. They asked me to wait 6-8 weeks for the cheque. I did, then contacted them (also as per their instructions). The cheque was apparently awaiting a signature in their Ontario office and would be mailed at the END of week 8. As of posting still have not recieved it. You be the judge of whether or not a company that behaves in such a cavalier manner with their clients' resources is worth doing business with.

not happy with our experience so far - this is recommended to us by the company we work for. booked a virtual meeting during the work day with the location manager - who didnt show up to the meeting at all, and didnt bother to write us an email beforehand. considering that we both took time off work for this, very unprofessional.

Seems like most of the bad reviews here is due to the waitlist, which isn't really fair-- I ignored them when looking at daycares and I am glad I did. This is what's actually important: in every respect this is an absolutely fantastic daycare. My daughter loves it here, when I say "time to go to daycare" in the morning she runs to the door. There are tons of crafts and activities; after only a few months our fridge was no longer visible since it is covered with all of the paintings we bring home. Management is quick to respond to emails. The caregivers genuinely care about my daughter's well being. I feel like I can go on and on about this place, we absolutely love it.

Great daycare!! Our daughter loves attending and asks to go. I see most people are upset with the waitlist deposit which we did do as well and waited for basically a year to get in. I do enjoy the option of being able to see your child via camera, the programming activities and that they provide meals and snacks. I would recommend this daycare to others and feel comfortable in the level of care provided to my toddler.

I should have taken the advice of the reviews. The walkthrough looked great and I'm sure it's an amazing day care, but we waited 2 years on a waitlist and now that we want our deposit back it's been 3 months and nothing. They won't tell us what's going on, they respond to every second or third email and it's very frustrating.

Whatever you do, do not put the $2500 deposit down. In June, I withdrew my son from the waitlist here when he got in to daycare elsewhere and, five months later, I’m still waiting on the refund. Natasha does NOT respond to emails. In all likelihood I am never going to see that money again. Find somewhere else to register your child.

Such a lovely space with caring and dedicated staff. Our son has been so happy here and we really appreciate the schedule flexibility and healthy meals.
