★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are great at blocking roads during busy hours. Even today I enjoyed my audio book 20 minutes longer during rush hour thanks to the inconsideratation this company has for people who are trying to get to work. Sure you have a job to do. But so is everyone else who is trying to get to work. I am not saying don't stop work but maybe be more considerate during busy time to let traffic flow instead of stopping every two minutes. Well either way thanks for being a boil on the ass of Calgary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are considering working in the shop proceed with caution. It is a toxic environment led my a very insecure shift foreman. If you work too hard he is intimidated by your ethic and you get blackballed. he targets techs early and they dismiss people just before benefits kick in. How or why this company tolerates this guy is beyond me. Ask around the industry before you accept a position there as promises are not kept. Revolving door and major turnover problems in that shop.

I love working for Kidco, operating the largest equipment in Calgary, moving ungodly amounts of earth always puts a smile on my face, and makes work enjoyable. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Show up put in your effort and do a good job, and you'll have a job for life. Just remember you are here to work so be prepared to work some long hours. It is seasonal work, so work when you can.
I have been with Kidco for 11 years, some of the characters have been interesting to say the least, however, I have seen Kidco grow and improve, especially in the last few years! It really is shaping up to be a Great company to be employed!
