WOW!!! I am so glad that I stopped shopping on-line 'outlets' and found and called Khan Scope Centre directly - Ray, you are this Oma's Christmas Angel! Thanks for sharing your time and expertise to help make my shopping experience a productive and positive one. I appreciated your honesty and product knowledge; your level of service exceeded my expectations - Thank You for that!! The hours I wasted shopping and comparing on-line were finally rewarded when I found your website. Your website made it easy for me to find a 'live person' to talk with and get educated on best products for Beginner Astronomers. At this time of year, it is often difficult to find someone to talk with, but Ray was happy to spend time with me and present me with options and recommendations. I live 3 hours outside of the GTA and Ray set my mind at ease, with easy shipping options that would guarantee that my Christmas gift purchase would arrive in the next wk or so - music to my ears and heart. I'm confident that your product recommendations will make my 'little man Em's' introduction to astronomy a fantastic experience. I don't normally write reviews however felt the need to offset some of the bad reviews posted here. I've just received my second purchase from Khan Scope and, as with the first, I'm completely satisfied. More so this time as my second purchase involved a glitch on their web site which allowed me a great conversation and quick fix by Ray (one of the owners). Thanks again Ray! They have a great inventory, competitive prices, and very responsive service. Who could ask for more? I'm new to this hobby and delighted to call Khan Scope my goto place for what will no doubt be a long and expensive future. :)

Great service considering they answered the phone when I called, the store was closed!! So right there I was impressed! They Had everything I needed, very knowledgeable and received my order in a few days! They also took the time to give me pointers and great advice and emailed me the info! My go to telescope store now!

BUYER BEWARE!!! You need only read the unprofessional and rude responses to Mr Khan's poor reviews to understand who you are dealing with.. I ordered a telescope online and made the mistake of not checking his business reviews and agreeing to pay in full. After more than a year of having to chase Mr Khan for updates, and continually being given time lines that weren't honoured (as well as a few attempts to up-sell me), I asked for my payment back. I was told that he would hang on to a portion of it - for a re-stocking fee? I had to contact the Ontario Gov's Consumer Protection department to get anywhere with him. KW Telescope in Kitchener had the same telescope in my hands within 2 months with incredible customer service.

Being new at this, I was grateful to land on Khan Scope. After several (re: MANY!) hours of telescope research for a beginner child (with very beginner parents), and having finally found a telescope in stock that seemed to fit our needs and wants, I ended up on the phone with Ray to discuss expediting shipping to hopefully receive our order for Christmas. Not only was he extremely helpful and patient, but what I thought would be a quick question turned into a wonderful and very informative conversation. When I asked if he had particular suggestions, he was honest and helpful as to what was worthwhile and not for us. I feel like we have something very comprehensive to start with that suits our needs, and couldn't have a better introduction to offer to our child (and admittedly, us). I have no doubt that we have many moments of awe coming our way as we discover the night sky above us. Thank you!

Must go and chat with the gentleman who runs this place. He’s very knowledgeable and gives the right advice. Not pushy for sales. I got here at about 10 to 5(they close at 5). The gentleman was inviting and suggested the right telescope for my 8 year old son who is quite interested in astronomy. I believe there is a lot of advertising that goes on about travel scopes. I suggest do your research and if you are in the TO area, go into this shop located just south of Yorkdale mall on Dufferin. They’ve got a great selection of micro/telescopes and will guide you to the correct scope. Continue exploring. Cheers

Very good buying experience here. Ray the owner is very polite helpful and friendly. I purchased a telescope filter here and we spent a good amount of time talking about the scope and a whole lot of other interesting stuff. Highly recommended and will surely revisit. I just saw all these negative reviews and I would encourage a buyer to meet ray and decide yourself. 5 stars from me.

Amazing service and experience that made me glad I didn't shop online with a big box store, and instead visited in-store. I went in only knowing that the person I was gifting to was interested in a Newtonian Telescope, and no other product knowledge. Ray was very helpful, informative and patient; he took the time to explain the different telescopes (incl price and their pros & cons) parts, specs, and potential upgrades until I was able to select the right telescope for my needs. He also gave me a lot of tips and info on useful apps and books for a beginner star gazer and even info about the dark sky preserve I was going to visit. Amazing customer service from a guy who is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about the stars and the job that he does.
