Great Service & wonderful to deal with!

BUYER BEWARE! I have never written a negative review before and wouldn’t have if Keystone Appraisals had the decency to refund my money or at least complete the appraisal I paid for. I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did by hiring these crooks. Bobby Penner at Keystone Appraisals is a untrustworthy crook with no integrity. I hired Bobby Penner in 2018 to appraise my commerical building located just outside of Winnipeg Manitoba. The first signs of trouble was when he asked for money up front and being a trusting person I foolishly paid him two thousand in advance for the appraisal. I later found out from another reputable appraiser that this was not normal industry practice. After waiting several months I was able to chase him down only when I called him from a restricted phone number. When I asked for my written appraisal he said he was too busy and that my money went towards his site visit to look at my property. When I demaned that I should at least get a written appraisal or at least a refund he refused and said that he’s not returning my money or providing the appraisal. I told him that he is stealing and he replied “I’m an important guy and my time is expensive”. I hired a collection agent to try a resolve the matter and Bobby Penner told him “I don’t care if I stole his money, he can sue me he won’t get a penny”. I have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional and unethical. Being that the Winnipeg Manitoba business community is so small, I have no idea how this company continues to stays in business when they flat out steal from their clients. Fortunately I found a professional appraisal company with integrity. I would highly recommend using Browaty and Associates Unlike Keystone, They where very professional, they gave me a ball park appraisal range before even asking for any money! They advised on what improvements would add value and produced an written appraisal within 10 days after our meeting. They sent me an invoice a week later and I happily paid for the services. I have another 8 building to build on this specific property and 4 more on a new piece of land which I will defiantly be using the professionals at Browaty for all these projects. Byron Rocke

Never used them, but accidentally sent them an email meant to be for a different company and Robert promptly let me know of my mistake. If this is the service for a non-customer, I'm sure they are great for actual customers!

Outstanding service! I don't think I could disagree more with Mr. Rocke's review. Our company hired Keystone Appraisals (Bobby) this year and found him to be the exact opposite of the previous review. Mr. Penner was polite and attentive and considerate to all parties involved in the transaction. He provided us with a very thorough and detailed report which I believe accurately depicted the market. Our situation was somewhat of a rush and he was able to accommodate the time line for a very reasonable cost. My guess is that Mr Rocke did not receive a value he wanted and decided to write a poor review. Very unfair.

I have used Keystone Appraisals for a number of my commercial properties and have always found them to be very professional and knowledgeable in the field. I have had them appraise commercial property in many locations including Winnipeg, Stonewall, Neepawa and Lac Du Bonnet and they have provided fast service at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them.

We have used Keystone multiple times and Bobby always delivers a quality product at a fair price. Has travelled to rural properties with no concerns and is quick and efficient. Highly recommend.
