★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park for trail walks in summer, cross country skiing in winter. Be warned however that in early summer the woods are just crawling with wood tics! Deer ticks with Lyme disease have been collected in the area. Dress with precautions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trees are so tall and majestic and strong....there was just something magical about this place....there were lots of little family or couple photo opportunities here along the way against big trees that have fallen down...there are a few places to carve your initials....multiple paths...great for kids...there r signs for no dogs which people did not apparently see cause seemed almost everyone we passed had a dog...to each his own lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for cross country skiing. Mostly flat but a few dips and bumps to work over and trail is mostly in snow covered woods. Options for different length trails. Tends to be well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to hike, bike or just chill. Nearby is the Headingley Grand Trunk trail, which was an old railway track. Watch for coyotes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice day of snowshoeing. The forest understory is pretty open so there is plenty of room to wander without impacting the cross country ski trails. And yet the forest is dense enough to stop the wind from whipping through. Great outdoor activity without the windchill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last 1.5km of the road before to enter in the parking lot is gravel, also all trails were closed in the park, the website of the manitoba government isn't updated to advise the trails are closed. you olny can use the tables near the parking lot.
