We just had our dock put in and boat delivered by Kensington Marine. I had attached 2 wood planks to my dock last summer. They were very awkward to attach. They were designed to attach string that we could extend along the length of the dock to keep seagulls off the dock. We got the idea from the internet. PRAISE GOD it worked amazingly!!!!! No poop ALL the rest of the summer!!!! When Kensington removed the dock in the Fall they removed the planks that I had attached. I wondered if they were going to reattach them in the Spring. Turns out I did not have to ask them. They put them back and more secure than before. YES! I was able to put the string and run it across suspended over the length of the dock and once again no seagull poop for this summer to date. Thank you Kensington for the EXCELLENT dock services! Jim and Mark were also excellent to deal with transferring our boat out of storage bringing to the Sault. We met them at Pine St. Marina and they carefully put the boat in the water and went over some safety tips with us. Very caring! Dave Farrar and his staff ROCK!!! YEAH SUMMER!!!!

Absolutely brutal service. The "service rep" Mark is a complete idiot who lies and double talks. He said he sent out the props to get fixed. After two weeks I went to see what was going on and they were still on the counter. The consensus among boaters and campers in the Desbarats Pine Island area is that the service is poor. The only reason they are in business is because they are the only marina on the water.Brought my boat in June 16th for repairs because I hit a rock. I got back in September two days short of 3 months. I also requested that they look at and estimate the trim and speed gauge. They did not even attempt to look at it. It is now at Looney Pontoons to get fixed. I talked to the owner Dave and I suspect he doesn't know much about what is going on with Mark (the idiot). Recommendation- stay away!!

Generations of our family have spent summers on the North Channel for over 100 years now. The marina located at the end of Kensington Point has been a life line. When one lives on an island, your water transportation is absolutely essential. I am delighted to note that our boats have been wonderfully tended by the Kensington Point Marina during the past few years of its most recent reincarnation.(formerly known as Langstaff's, Holder's, etc.). KPM special ordered our pontoon boat several years ago at a time when people were hardly using pontoons on this stretch of the lake. The Marina went out of their way to drive down to pick it up in time for our arrival, and we simply fell in love with the ease, comfort, and dependability of the boat they had selected for us. Since then, the KPM has serviced it and stored it and taken exceptional care of our boat for us. Further, they have assisted us wonderfully with incidentals, such as propane service, parking, dock/boating supplies, gas, etc. The staff has gone out of their way to be helpful, assisting us in landing our boat, carrying packages from the car, etc. Further, we can always count on enjoying a few minutes of lively conversation with the mechanics and others at the dock. Scheduling, invoicing, and service have been prompt, efficient, and communication has been handled with dispatch. We have been delighted with our experiences at the marina and are pleased to enthusiastically sing its praises.

Brought my 1990 Chris Craft I/O in to Kensington Marine for engine service. It would start and idle but stall when under load. I was advised that they were backlogged by about a week and a half. A week and a half later they called to say my boat was repaired and ready to be picked up. I have always been satisfied by the parts and service and price at Kensington Marine.

Dropped my boat off to have the impeller and seals replaced on my 2010 Mercury 40Hp outboard motor. I bought the motor new 10years ago and figured that the impeller should be changed as a maintenance precaution. A short time later I received a call from the service office notifying me that the impeller had been changed 2 years ago. I totally forgot ... Kensington Marina thank you for your vigilance, organization and honesty. Saved me $250.
