★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relaxing and beautiful. Close drive to the town of Geraldton which is only 10km away. Geraldton offers, groceries, propane, gas, and most importantly fishing,hunting supplies and live bait at Joel's Live Bait 1229 Main Street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little lake cabins. Older but cute. Kitchenette, say tv, boat rentals, sounds like there is good fishing available. Cell phone signal is great (LTE). very reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming here for years. The lake is great for fishing walleye, pike, and perch. One and two bedroom cabins, small and large cabins all available. Pretty close to Geraldton, which is nice. The cabins, though clean and neat and cozy, are a bit worn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner could not have been more accommodating. Decent fishing on the lake. The cabins were clean and well kept and the enclosed lit fish cleaning area was very handy. Definitely will return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I emailed the owner (Bill) per the website form and enquired if he had any cabins available for a particular evening. I only needed one night as I am just passing through the area on my journey, not staying to hunt, etc. It sounded like a nice place which is why I chose it first.
His email response was to ask me how many people would be staying for “only” one night. I replied right away. But I never heard from him again.
I get it if he prefers not to only have only one person stay for “only” one night for whatever his reasons must be. Note - other resorts and hotels do this. All he had to do was have info to this effect on his (very poor) website or reply “sorry we have no availability”. But to ignore my cordial request and not respond at all is unprofessional and wasted hours of my time waiting to see if he had availability before I finally booked my second choice.
His unprofessional approach likely is indicative of how this place is run and how he treats his guests. And it appears he doesn’t really need nor want new guests. Thus I wouldn’t stay there under any circumstances in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best one stay. The owner is just opening up for the season and he offered us a site right on the water. Great guy! Honestly I think most guests fish during their stay. The property is huge and well maintained. I’d so bring my family here for an extended to get a real Northern experience.
