D	Douglas Engel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Running a rental business is a tough job. The review below was unfortunately placed by the worst person i have dealt with in my 20 years. He asked when he could come get it. I asked if he had experience with Rv's. Yes was his answer. Now i should not have to explain the systems so much and just point them out and answer questions. I told him that i had a Drs appointment at 11am. Anytime but 11-12. He shows up at 11:05am. I wanted to drive all the way out to Lake Country to go over it with him. He was unavailable. This was the same with both rentals. He was unavailable. He parks a huge class A on a steep grade, and the steering wheel lock is jambed up. So he cannot deliver the rig back. I arrived, and 3 people watched as i put the key in, applied a little pressure on the key, and wiggled the steering wherl to unlock the steering. Total time involved- .25 seconds. Total time to come out to fix a non-problem, giving hin time to drive back to Edmonton, 2 hours. He ignores instructions, and is never wtong. Propane was shut off during a refill. This caused the fridge to not work. Rv fridges are not instantly cold. They take 24 hrs to get cold. Apparently he did not know this. It would have been covered in the walk around!! Jim figures he is the smartest guy in the room. Always. Yet the only way he feels superior is to demand this that and more, and when i do not acquiesce, he bad mouths me on reviews. Avoid this bully at all cost!!

The owner, Doug l, took 300$ additional to use the generator, did not refund my damage deposit on first of 2 rentals with no reason. I have the feedback from him showing the rental was returned n good order. I would NOT RECOMMEND renting here unless safety and honesty are not important to you. One other mention, we had the 2nd of 2 rentals from weds 2 PM (owner was not available during business hours to do a walk around) and returned early monday before noon to accommodate Dougs lack of planning of next rental. STILL CHARGED US FOR BOTH THOSE DAYS PLUS AN ADDITIONAL.
B	Brynn Bucknell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented an RV from Doug, he took the time to do a thorough walk thru. At some point the adaptor was forgotten (not a big deal) we already had the RV and were on our way from West Kelowna to Christina Lake (about a 3 hour drive) we didn't realize it until the genny wouldn't tirm on. Messaged Doug to let him know, he and his wife brought it out to us to Christina Lake the next morning! We will absolutely rent from him again! RV was great, all equipment work fantastic! He was also very accommodating to the point he did not charge us for the first day, since we were not travelling until the following morning.
S	Shekar Kadaba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doug was wonderful to deal with, friendly, extremely helpful and his RV was the star at the campground we stayed at. Definitely the kind of motorhome you have everything you need in. 100% recommend and will be my go to for RV rentals in the Okanagan.
