★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manny is one of the most patient and kind jiu jitsu instructors I have met. His jiu jitsu and how he teaches is great and is always evolving. I feel safe on the mats and highly recommend this for beginner's or if you are looking for a new jiu jitsu place to call home. The kids love his class and always look foward to it and I always look foward to the adult class. Best way to de-stress from life is here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly welcoming to newcomers. I was looking for a BJJ gym around southside Edmonton and Kazoku was the closest one. The drive to the gym is easy, and there is plenty of parking.
In my first class, I was immediately welcomed by Professor Manny and the other students! They were especially accommodating to me as a white belt, and took the time to explain techniques step by step. The atmosphere in this gym is very warm and friendly.
So far, I'm loving this gym. For anyone interested, they have trial classes available, which is what I did before deciding to join.
Five stars—highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend first took me to kazoku bjj and i immediately felt warmly welcomed. The gym is kept very clean ALWAYS. The BJJ instructor Manny is very patient, caring and so well versed in the sport. All the other practioners / students from this gym have been great training parnters and teachers to me. Ontop of that they offer a amazing muay thai kickboxing class with our world class teacher Falcom. I could write on about all the good things about this place but long story short since joining i have felt mentally and physically so much better. Everyone in this group cares about eachother and nobody will be looking to take your head off or put you to sleep. A family away from home. Lastly as a testiment to this i live north edmonton and i make the journey almost every day to the gym. I would reccomend this to any and everyone. Thanks again to Sensei Manny and Sensei Falcom ????
