★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kavuus was absolutely not the right choice for us. We spent the most we've ever spent on piece of custom furniture (thousands) and we have to get it rebuilt. When we reached out to ask for support, we were told we would have to ship our cushion back to their warehouse, which would leave us unable to use the couch until it is done. This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had buying anything. We were so excited for our couch, and spent so much money to have it just right - expecting quality. That is not what we got. We are considering selling the couch on Facebook marketplace so that we can buy something from Ikea that will at least look better and feel more comfortable.

They have a wide + quality selection of sleek furniture that is fairly priced for the quality you're getting. Very happy to support this local business.

Not only is it super comfortable but the quality and attention to detail is so beautiful. What I loved about their site is how I was able to customize details for it to fit my space and needs exactly. Perfect for our growing family and so stylish, highly Recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OUR MOST LOVED COUCH!! My family of five fits perfectly on this couch, it is soft + comfortable + it cleans up so well! I have young kids and they are MESSY! We got the extra protective coating on our couch and we’ve had no problems with accidental spills!
I couldn’t recommend kavuus enough!
They are quick to respond to any of your questions + have the best customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burned by Kavuus? Me too. Here’s how I took my money back, and how you can too.
First, buyer beware - see my photo for what I ordered vs what I got. It arrived 6 weeks after their quoted time, and I had to coordinate delivery along their supply chain despite paying for white glove service.
They advertise “Fully customizable”, “No Risk Purchase”, “Hassle Free Return”, and “100% full refund”. If you try (like me), to return or replace your order, they will refuse you.
Kavuus refused my return request. So I had to take my money back - and you can too. It’s called a chargeback.
If the product you received is in any way different from the product you ordered, or is of a different quality than what you were led to believe, you can ask your bank to “dispute” your transaction.
How does it work? Your bank will ask you to email them photos of what you received, and screenshots of what you purchased. Visa or MasterCard will then decide who gets the money. In my case, I was found to be 100% right and received a full refund including shipping. Were you burned? You can fight this!
What did I send to my bank?
-Photo of expected vs actual couch, with comments calling out what was different.
-Photo of the Kavuus website, circling all the “no hassle returns” and “no risk purchase” claims. I mentioned there is no reference to any conditions applying.
-Photo of customization process. I mentioned there are no warnings around voiding returns when making customizations.
-Photo of checkout that has a hassle free return guarantee.
If you were burned, there’s still hope. If you are or were considering buying, don’t do it. Ive warned you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love our couch by Kavuus. I was able to customize it completely with both the sofa length and the chaise as well, which is perfect because we have a smaller living room. The colour options are beautiful as well. The cushions are quite firm, they will definitely stand the test of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just received my Shelby Chesterfield, chair and ottoman. The quality and finish is amazing. I had mine customized with a special order red leather. About 8 weeks from the time i ordered until it was in my home, well packaged and in perfect condition. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality Canadian furniture that will last.
