Not to mention the value was better than anywhere else we could ever have even hoped or even imagined, thank you once again Kathryn's and those two people especially!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourite breakfast spot in Durham. I live in Toronto and I drive out there regularly to grab breakfast. I love the scrambled eggs, bacon and homefries. The coffee is my fave. Lol. If you love to do regular weekend breakfast with your fam, this is cute little spot.
*note* Sat/Sun mornings are always busy so be prepared to wait for a bit. But it’s worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the 3 eggs breakfast (3 eggs scrambled, white toast, and home fries; $6.50), and Kathryn's combo (2 eggs over easy, bacon, sausage, home fries, and 2 pancakes; $11.50)
Service - 5 stars! The two servers there were very friendly and attentive. They were busy, but we were seated within 5 minutes and our coffees were always topped up.
Food - 3.5 stars. Nothing to rave about; the home fries were very well done - extremely crispy (more than my liking) and not seasoned, the eggs were good, and the pancakes again, average.
Value - 4.5 stars! While I'd say the portions were a little smaller than what we get at other places, the prices were definitely lower. That's not to say that we weren't full. It's just that at other places we have to take a doggy bag whereas here we wiped our plates clean and were not left hungry.
All in all, we enjoyed it and will be coming back for more.
