★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hosted a baby shower at Kate's. The food (quiche, spinach salad, and scones) was picture perfect and delicious! Kate's desserts are amazing - the butter tarts are a must! It's obvious that this bakery genuinely cares and takes pride in what they do. Kate, thank you so much for making the day so special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kate's is really the talk if the town. I came in to try some of their goods and was met with friendly staff. The air smelled of freashly baked goods. Sometimes there's a burning smell but not here. Oh no. Baked to deliciousness. Their cookies were very tasty and they have a good variety. Their tarts we're super tasty and gooey. Will come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best butter tarts anywhere. I have traveled to MANY places that are famous for their butter tarts. This place beats all the others. The treats are chewy and delicious and the crust is buttery and light.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kate's has great scones! Scones are one of my favourite treats so Kate's is a great place to get but go early because they do sell out after midday. I called a day ahead and placed an order for a dozen because I knew my family and I wanted them for the next day. They also have other great treats like their squares. Their tarts are pretty good but the one time I had them I found them to be a little sweet. Overall great local bakery with friendly staff.
