★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I were shopping in Peace River and happened by Karen’s restaurant. We are so glad that we found this hidden gem. The food was excellent. My husband had the portobello mushroom sandwich and it was grilled and so incredibly tasty. We all had such a wonderful experience. In fact we are going back today!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Karen's is great. We love eating here. The food really is home cooked. The burgers are hand made, thick and juicy. The fries are cut from real fresh potatoes. The deserts are always great. Enjoyed a fantastic gooey brownie with caramel sauce. If you haven't been here you should give it a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister and I had breakfast at this lovely little restaurant today. My sister had an omelette and I had the eggs Benedict. Both were fantastic! It was much cheaper than going to Smitty’s and the food was far superior. The sauce for the eggs Benedict was truly homemade and absolutely delicious. The eggs were poached to perfection and the home fried potatoes were great.
We were the only ones in the restaurant which was disappointing. I hope that others begin to discover this little gem in Peace River. Not only was the food great, but the physical layout of the restaurant is quite lovely.
I am anxious to try more options on the menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a pleasant surprise this place was! Wow the food was delicious and everything including the bun was homemade. I also had beef barley soup which was unreal and not too salty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im new to peace river, Karen has been wonderful, very kind and accommodating. Her food is delicious with large portions, prices are very reasonable and the service has been excellent. She also does baked goods and I can't recommend her bread enough. If you want tasty home cooked food give her a visit!
