β β β β β Kaizen Education Serives has not only helped me survive at Queens University, but thrive. I am so thankful for the study skills, learning tactics, and time management skills that Kaizen taught me. Every semester I would plan how to study for each of my classes using Kaizenβs strategies. These strategies allowed me to achieve a balanced lifestyle and academic success. I just want to take the time to thank Kaizen for everything it has done for me. I would also like to recognize the fact it provides all students with the best personalized strategies for each student.

β β β β β From the first moment I met Kaizen founder, Sam Woods, I knew my kids would have to be in her midst. Both of them have had coaching and done various Kaizen workshops and learned terrific skills.
Since then I have worked with Sam to help spread the Kaizen word. She and her amazing coaches are leaders in the latest neuroscience of learning. They teach kids HOW they learn so they can better understand what works for their individual tactics in learning, retaining information, exploring content, getting ready for tests, and living up to their amazing potential.
All this stuff is called Executive Skill Function. It was interesting to see how remarkably different my kids where in terms of the the skills they already have, the ones they lack and how they go about developing the ones they need. Fascinating stuff.
Academic coaching is key to making school work for each kid using their individual learning style, needs, challenges and strengths. We are fans!

β β β β β I am very pleased with the coaching that Kaizen has provided. My daughter was struggling to keep up in school and has since improved a full grade point in both math and English since she started working with Kaizen's coaches. Before using Kaizen's services, we had tried other tutoring organizations and were unimpressed with the lack of qualified tutors and the ad hoc approach to their tutoring sessions. The level of care, professionalism, organization, and feedback that Kaizen provides far exceeds anything we experienced previously. My daughter's words probably capture it best when, after her second coaching session, she emerged and said, "I love Kaizen, I love that they started Kaizen!" Anything that makes my daughter's learning experience more enjoyable and easier, makes my life as a parent easier.

β β β β β Our son needed extra help in organizing his school work along with additional math tutoring. The educators from Kaizen work one on one at every session -- they approached our child's unique challenges with engaging, tactical, and encouraging methods. These Kaizen sessions, combined with our own efforts in the home, are absolutely meeting our son's needs in school, and we will continue to use Kaizen long term.

β β β β β I can't recommend the services at Kaizen Educational Services highly enough. My daughter has developed better study habits and organization skills. She also better understands how her brain works, and how she as an individual learns the best. Most importantly, my daughter has developed confidence in herself and in her ability to succeed academically in high school and beyond.
What I love most about Sam and the overall philosophy at Kaizen is the one on one attention and care that is put into each coaching session. And - she and the other coaches make the whole process fun! They really relate well to teens. Sam also coaches parents! Her thoughts on what NOT to say to your child about their learning are always on point.
As a pediatric Occupational Therapist and a parent, I know that students learn best when they are empowered to take their unique gifts and strengths along with their challenges to achieve their potential in school and in life. Students are in excellent hands at Kaizen!

Once Samantha introduced us to executive functioning, we soon realized the importance of developing these skills not only in our children but as a family as well.
Kaizen's approach is current, research-based, and layered with years of experience. This, combined with the team's genuine care, warmth and understanding, has been invaluable in providing our family with the help we needed. Our children's "future fitness" has always been a priority; however, now more than ever, these skills have become critical. β β β β β This coaching program has been an incredible impact on my family and left an indelible impression on my 15-year old son who has been paired up with one of the coaches. Zach is an empathetic young professional who completely understands how to interact, bond and deliver material to this youth bracket. The first interaction with Kaizen involved communication exchanges with Cheryl who was responsive and able to personally speak to the benefits of the program. Samantha Woods, Founder and Director, is also very communicative with the perfect amount of energy and passion to help promote, and rightfully sell this service for what it enables in our school aged children! My only regret is that this isn't an automatic option for all school kids, since the return on investment - mostly time - is well worth it!!! Thank you to the entire team at Kaizen for the greatest gift you have given me, a bright and inspired son who looks forward to regrouping once September 2020 rolls around.

β β β β β Went to Kaizen with high hopes for a personal practical approach to learning centered on the my child's strengths. Coaching was theoretical, generic and wordy; sadly they are just another cookie cutter educational group that blames the child when their strategy fails.
