Nancy Noseworthy
M.Ed., Registered Provisional Psychologist
Nancy Noseworthy is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, currently under the supervision of Dr. Jeff Chang. She completed her undergraduate degrees in education and special education at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She also obtained a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from Memorial University. Nancy is currently finishing up her internship hours at Third Academy in Calgary, to complete her second master’s program in School and Applied Child Psychology through the University of Calgary.
With over 25 years’ experience working with children, including, teacher, special education teacher, principal and inclusive education consultant, Nancy is passionate about helping children reach their full potential, particularly children with complex learning needs. Nancy has spent the majority of her career in Canada’s Northwest Territories working with and supporting Indigenous youth.
Nancy considers herself a lifelong learner. She also loves spending time with her family including her twin teenagers (girl/boy). She loves animals, particularly Golden Retrievers. Settling into life in Calgary from a remote community in the Northwest Territories has been a welcome change for her entire family. It really isn’t that cold here!!
Nancy will be focussing her work at Journey on Psycho-educational Assessments, Learning Disorders, ADHD and Giftedness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our second appointment booked. We arrived on time and waited in the waiting room. We waited until 30 minutes after we were supposed to meet our counselor. The woman at the front simply said "I don't know what she's doing." We could hear our counselor's voice laughing in another room. We left and we never got a call with an apology or anything. Very very strange because we were paying a LOT of money. Maybe they have way too many clients here..
I gave an extra star because they have lots of tea and treats. We made sure to take a lot.
