They did not help me find a job even though I went through a two week training and did everything they advised to do. In addition, they do not have scanner for job search. they don't have a phone to use for job search. For example, when I needed a scanner to scan tax documents, they declined to help dismissing it as not 'employment related'. They advised to go to a shop in the store for scanner. When you are broke, not employed and not on OW, it is hard to pay for scan service. I had to go Humber College Employment Services for the same service for scanner. JVS said they do not have funding to buy scanner but Humber has the same thing.... this tells me they do not know the priorities of their clients. If it is management decision, this is not rational and should be reviewed. Obviously the people who made this decision to discontinue scanner service is not in touch with the struggles of the unemployed youth.... Commuting by TTC just to go to another employment Centre etc. I am very dissatisfied and will share this experience with friends. PS: I have never gone on a website and written a bad review of any institution before this. This explains my frustration. Disappointed Client

They stated that they have a youth program which will allow me to receive assistance with securing employment once I am returning to school. I informed them that I am not, and thus they refused to help me. I was under the impression that Employment Ontario and The Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (Their funders) had a rule to never turn away a youth. The fact that this happened, and the fact that they did not acknowledge the other negative review the other youth client left on this page says a lot about the staff here.

I also joined IPLAN and it was really good start for me and for every international trained architect. I would strongly recommend it. I really appreciate all the kind support along my challenging times when I was very new here.
