I was at first attached by the photographs of her other weddings - creative, rich in emotion and character, clean, and just simply beautiful - and then sold by Francois' kind professionalism and Julia's friendliness and eagerness to shoot our wedding.
The day we met, it was a rainy, cold, snowy Montreal day in December, and Julia was there on time and professional, smiling and cheerful in the winter rain - who knew that six months later she'd be doing the same in the summer rain with her assistant, Camille! Over the months leading up to our big day, Julia responded to my every email with care, made me feel as though I were her priority, and even helped me walk through the schedule of the day to ease my mind.
On our rainy wedding day, Julia and Camille captured every moment I wanted. Every time I smile, teared up, or hugged someone, I heard a nearly imperceptible "snap," and I was confident that they had captured the day as it was unfolding. They were always there, but no one seemed to notice them; they were respectful of the church rules, and got shots during speeches without any of our guests knowing they were there - not an easy feat in such a tiny dining room and wedding of only thirty people! They even made me thrilled that it was raining, making my first look with my husband in the rain my most unforgettable and cherished memory of the entire day.
Upon seeing the photos, I realized my intuition was right: Julia and Camille had captured the day and it's tremendous emotion with detail and care - and beautiful light. They were able to get around difficult spaces, got soaked in the rain, and did everything they could imagine to take a stunning portfolio of photographs. I wholeheartedly recommend JunoPhoto to those looking to hire a wedding photographer. You'll be thrilled that you did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiring Junophoto as our photographer was possibly the best decision we've taken for our wedding. Julia was professional, pleasant, responsive and, most importantly, had a wonderful artistic vision to capture our day in the best way possible. They were helpful and discreet, and the quality of the pictures is beyond words. The light, the facial expressions, the accessories... Everything was captured beautifully.
We are ever so glad to have worked with Julia and her team. They were meticulous in the planning, and their experience serves them well. They were able to pre-empt many of the day's questions, in addition to providing support and comic relief during the stressful times. At this point, we pretty much just feel sorry for whomever does not hire Junophoto ;-)

She had a lot of great ideas in terms of shooting locations, lighting and poses, and we absolutely love the outcome of our wedding photos. The wedding day goes by so quickly, and thankfully Julia also helped us keep to our schedule of events throughout the day. If you have any questions, she gets back to you with answers in no time. She also designed a gorgeous photo album for us, which we are so thankful for. We had already fallen in love with her photography style based on the beautiful, light and airy photos in her portfolio. Her kind, fun and easy going attitude made us even more excited to work with her. She is very responsive and has been a pleasure to work with. We had so much fun at our engagement session and loved how the photos turned out! Throughout all the craziness of covid, Julia has been so helpful and understanding with our multiple postponed wedding dates. We ended up having an intimate ceremony that Julia captured perfectly. I had the privilege of working with Julia a couple times this past summer in Lake Louise when I designed a bouquet for one of her engagement clients (as well as for her own engagement) and for a photoshoot at Barrier Lake in Kananaskis. As you can see she captured the florals and her clients beautifully! Would highly recommend and wish she lived near Calgary so we could work together more often!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment we met Julia and saw her work, we knew we wanted to book her for our wedding. We maintained contact ever since and booked her for family photos and newborn photos. I strongly recommend Junophoto, not only for the quality of their aesthetics, but also because Julia makes us feel at ease posing in front of the camera. Sometimes we can't help but giggle at how silly/unprofessional we feel, but thankfully we are always given awesome tips and tricks on how to stand/kiss/hold each other, and the results always come out so candid and raw. Julia is fun, punctual and knows how to guide us during our photo sessions. Even with an unpredictable toddler and a baby to manage, candid shots turn out to be the most beautiful ones!
