As an independent artist it is very discouraging to be over charged for productions. Upon meeting Amir I was confident that he was passionate in the project. However, I started having red flags after the video shoot date kept being delayed. On the day of the video shoot Amir was a bit over 30 min late. The issue with this delay is that I had to pay the venue, and since we were filming a "one take" style music video, I had less time to rehearse the set up which was crucial before filming the official version for the Sunset hour as planned. It really seemed they were struggling while filming and my boyfriend had to assist and tell them how to strategically use angles to hide shadows... For a 1000$ one take style indie video this wasn't really worth it. I've had better videos for the budget of 400-700$. When I was expressing via email many concerns and asked for a discount, Amir was completely inappropriate and wasn't fair. Unnecessary ad-ons like generic vintage filters which we never discussed added to the first draft, almost penalizing me from having a proper video review. At the end of the shoot we hung out and took casual b-roll images that are behind the scenes style. Amir never directed proper shots to use as thumbnails and the after math was a bit confusing when he was suggesting I can use those... As a final thought, right after filming Amir was eager to self promote using the un-released and un-finalized footage of me and my music video to run himself social media advertising without my consent. I never experienced such before. Definite lack of boundaries here, disrespectful and un thoughtful email exchanges, and overall not very professional in terms of communication when there is a disagreement or slight conflict. On a positive note Amir did try his best that I am 100% certain of, but as a client paying 1k I was not pleased. An edit: To be very clear, I've done performances and music videos for 6 years and have never felt uncomfortable like this time in front of the camera. Accusations for not being well rehearsed is simply an excuse to avoid accepting blame for a bad shoot. (We had only 1 video call regarding the project back in January, and no follow-up. We filmed spontaneously April 2nd.) In our careers we have mishaps. However we must take ownership of our mistakes. In the end I'm a client that has fully paid. I don't see how I am the inconvenience here! Such a shame!

Amir is the most talented and creative person, I've ever seen. When I saw his work in ARK, without any hesitation, I asked him to take care of visual content of our business, and I am happy of my choice. Amir helped our business a lot as he is a professional video producer.
