This place has buck a shuck oysters which is what drew us here in the first place , the patio is pretty big and nicely decorated. Service was good and the prices were decent. The tuna tartare was a good quantity and the calamari came with a fantastic dip!

Delicious!!! Wonderful service!!! Had our anniversary dinner here. Ordered a bottle of champagne and splurged on the good food. My husband and I ordered the octopus, sliders, striploin and the special which was a miso cod dish on risotto. To finish with had the cheesecake with filo pastry. It was all very delicious and our server was amazing!!

Stopped by for lunch before the holidays - happy to find these guys in a neighbourhood with so little open that time of day. Mixed review on the place but ultimately worth 4 stars. Although the lunch prices are a bit more affordable, this spot does tread into fine dining territory. Service therefore was pretty spot on and friendly. Food was either tasty or average. The molasses bread was basically incredible and my burger was tasty and enormously filling. My friend had the gnocchi which was small and bland. Overall a good spot for lunch. I think it has typical financial district prices and a generally reliable experience.

The wings, Osso Bucco and Yellow fin tuna tartar was on point. The Boar and beef bolongese was off the chart! I will certainly go back, especially for the strawberry martini.

Overall, if the perfect score was five stars, I’d give it three and a half. I was a little disappointed. I thought it would deserve a better grade. This restaurant may have been mediocre in my opinion, but it scored very high on Google Maps. I wouldn’t recommend it because there’s nothing to look forward to. The restaurant is located in the 18th Wellington W, Toronto, ON M5L 1G4 building, which offers paid parking. A coat can be hung in the cloakroom at the entrance of the restaurant. You need to make reservations via web site and phone. I made my 19 o’clock Reservation, waited for about five minutes (said to be clearing the table, not providing a table on time) , sat down with ice water and asked if I wanted anything else. Ice water tastes distinctly of disinfectant. The table and utensils are clean. The lighting in the dining room is just right. It’s not too dark. Background music can be a bit loud and can interfere with conversations with friends. When ordering, there is no initiative to recommend dishes, nor initiative to recommend wine. The glasses and decanters are not positioned correctly (they should be on the right hand side of the guest but on the left hand side) , the glasses are not positioned correctly (they should not be on the opposite side of the guest) , and there is no confirmation of the wine to the guest, without first pouring a little into the glass for the guests to taste. The first course of tuna avocado tartare tuna is not fresh, the fish smell is very heavy, and when eaten into the mouth also smells fishy. Guacamole doesn’t neutralize the smell of fish. Salmon for main course: the skin is crispy but not juicy enough. The sauce is salty, the cauliflower is inexplicably sour, and the asparagus is bland. The whole dish doesn’t go well with each other. Butter chicken wings with side dishes: the wings are cold when served, but the chicken is well seasoned. Perhaps it’s because it’s been sitting there too long, and the skin isn’t crispy enough, it’s gone soft. Finally, I mentioned to the waiter that the tuna tartare tasted stale. After consulting with the kitchen, he decided to charge the dish off my bill. That’s commendable, but it’s more important to focus on the quality of the dish than the money back. Before I left, I used the bathroom in this restaurant. It was clean and smell-free. When I finally went out to get my clothes, the clerk at the front desk was nowhere to be found, so I had to wait another five minutes with the number plate.

Came for a dinner on the weekend. It was easy get the reservation and to reschedule it. Had a great service, very fast and attentive. The food was great, chef restaurant level. Make sure you check the menu as it is not huge.

I came here for Valentine's Day and our experience with the server was amazing! Upon entering, we were offered coat service and were quickly escorted to our table. Our server, Karissa, was very attentive to our questions and requests. I love that she asked the kitchen to separate a dish we requested onto separate plates to save us the mess of dividing it ourselves, how generous! All used utensils were replaced with every course and servers always made sure water glasses were full. The food was very good as well, I wish there was a 4.5 rating because there was nothing wrong with the food but I do go into restaurants hoping to be blown away by flavours and textures. I really loved the mushroom soup, highly recommend it. The bolognese was also very delicious and you can really taste the pork. The tenderloin was alright to me, it was flavourful and easy to cut into but perhaps it was the combination of that and fries which made this $52 dish less worth it. Perhaps everyone has their own preference of characteristics for fries but I felt that my fries felt almost on the same level of store bought frozen fries. I was surprised to see that the soup and pasta that were a standard price were amazing but a higher priced main was sub-par. Ambiance wise, very upscale and intimate. The place was clean and the decor was tasteful. The bathrooms were a little odd as the water pressure was low and tissues were on the counter in place of paper towel or napkin. Overall, I do see this a good restaurant to go to and try but im not seeing anything amazing to come back for (except maybe the mushroom soup).
