★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jubilee lodge is a good place to visit if your a new military family/ couple to Petawawa. Especially if you have a CAC card which you can get at the Rec Plex on base. This card allows you to access fitness activities on base for cheaper. At Julilee Lodge you can show your CAC card or pay to rent kayaks/ canoes and in the winter there are snowshoes and cross country skis. Open to civilians.This is a great service however you are not allowed to take the equipment off base to access other trails or lakes. This a down side because kayaking the Ottawa in summer means waves from boats and the constant smell of boat fuel. I am not a sea sick person but this was not enjoyable. All safety gear is provided. The cross country skis trails are well maintained but not very scenic. Use these for fitness purposes only. You can also dock/ launch your boat from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Summer) 10$ boat launch. Fuel pump available at an increased fuel price. Gets pretty busy in the summer months. The lodge serves food and pints. Kayak rentals available. (Winter) They maintain the cross country ski trails, skis are also available for rent. CAC card required for discount prices.
