★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will not go back. I bought one item for a total of $1.57 I gave her a toonie and $0.60 expecting to get $1.05 back. She gave me $0.05 change. I could not dispute because the owners wife has a very weak command of the English language.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strategically placed next to the train station at the town's eastern entrance, John's Variety Store is a convenience store with a good selection of drinks and other small items. Prices are lower than in many other convenience stores. Customer service could be friendlier. I greeted with a smile and was answered with cold silence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never going here again. Prices on everything are just ridiculous. Literally just paid $20 for 2 monsters & a SMALL pk of JP's. If the drinks are $5.65, that makes the smokes $14+ cause it was just under $20. Thats just insane....
