L	Luke Skywalker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrogant therapist. I saw her for a while and it was not a good experience for me. Jodi was not genuine warm and caring like her web site says. And I also was told she has a very bad reputation of affairs and horrible treatment of people . I dont know how someone like this can be trusted to heal relationships. I also am not surprised that she can't keep client information safe and confidential. She would leave papers in open view when I was at her office. Stay far away.

I may be able to find proof of Jody's global breaches of client confidentiality and right to privacy over their personal and client-therapist privileged discussions. If anyone is interested (victims only ) in contacting me, if we get enough victims together maybe all victims may get some restitution if a class suit is viable. Please contact me at my JSClassAction gmail address. It is time Ms.Sommerfeld is put to task as she is responsible to keep peoples info secure may have been negligent in that capacity. Potentially causing emotional and sometimes other damage to her clients. PS: I encourage victims of breach of confidentiality with Jody Sommerfeld to report her to The BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

I'm not sure if it's standard practice to give out your personal number to clients, but I got her number from my wife. She said she would get back to me... and never did. I've since reached out to other professionals, some on the weekend, who've had response times of 20 minutes via email as the nature of the inquiry was extremely important. Felt extremely unprofessional for a counselor to snub me. Be careful when choosing your counsellor. See text message below.

It felt like she was trying to "look" caring and sympathetic, as opposed to it coming from the heart. My previous therapist had 1/3 the education and experience, but came across as sincere and genuine. I felt better after seeing him than I did Jody. So I've been back with him ever since. Jody was able to provide us with endless resources, so that when we left her, we had the ability to then expand our own research and knowledge, while further educating ourselves, but most importantly, empowering ourselves.
