k	kevin kitsilano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somehow, overnight, the price of a tea and muffin has gone up 20-30% (from $6 something to $8 something). I thought maybe they got my order wrong, but no. When I removed the muffin from my order, the tea (which is listed as $3.25 on the menu) came to over $4. Again, I thought maybe they got my order wrong, but no - there's a cup fee on top of the tea price now as well? I like supporting local, and this JJ Bean was my morning go to for breakfast (staff are friendly, product is good), but sadly I'll be crossing the street to Starbucks or Rosemary Rocksalt Bagels, or going further up Lonsdale to one of the smaller cafes. The good news is that I was eating so many muffins there that my waistline was starting to, well, look like a muffin... so I'm happy that this price increase will result in shedding a few pounds.

I've been coming here for about a year, every day I had work. The work is done, so I won't be returning, and that breaks my heart. The people here have made every day better, least of all by serving me great coffee. They only hire and keep the best people around - I don't mean great workers, I mean great people. I recommend the mocha with whip cream, and ask you to say hello to them from me.

I’m excited that they are expanding vegetarian and gluten friendly options, with the latest addition of vegan umami mushroom wrap.

A very interesting use of space with every bit of space used and lots of seating options. This store lifted my mood hugely after walking in from the grey, dreary ,misty drizzle that Vancouver is known for that just sucks the joy out of you. The staff were awesome , friendly, welcoming and patient with my stuttering and confusion ( old brain injury) The noise level was great Evan though it was packed, there was a hum and slight echo of people who were talking loudly , but you could tell that effort had been made to address and control the noise. The views of the North Shore Mountains from the floor to ceiling windows (20+ feet high) were beautiful with them poking though the mist and clouds
