The food quality depends, the beef steak I ordered was dry and not tasty, and the poutine my son ordered was with cheese bits, not cheese curd. However the roasted beef my friend ordered was juicy and tasty. Also some of our people had to wait a very long time to get the food although we had a group reservation.

She was super nice and helpful and the food was plentiful and of good quality. The turkey and roast beef is roasted in house fresh so their sandwiches and meat plates and tasty. Their veg is fresh and not frozen. Highly recommend for a casual lunch. Left there happy and full.

A	A M B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is really nice to be able to get a home-cooked meal in town and they have decent variety of Canadian food (I go for the hamburger steak). I've dined in and done carry out. When items in my carry out order were missing, one of the the owners Kimberly answered the phone and gave me a few choices for how I wanted to handle it, even offering to deliver them. I appreciate the service and the quality. Only things I don't recommend are the bread and the meatballs. Thanks!

My wife and I ordered take-out Lasagna last night from Jim's for the first time. Since there were 2 of us we ordered 2 orders. OMG! Were we surprised. It was HUGE--and I mean HUGE! We split one Lasagna between us and have the other one left over for today. The Lasagna was perfectly baked with a thick layer of cheese on top superbly coloured to perfection and the TASTE---was to die for. Nothing says value for money like Jim's. We regularly eat at Jim's and this is the reason why we do. Home cooked comfort food on a cold Arnprior night--5 Star service and 5 Star food. The only thing to do tonight is to order a couple of slices of Cheesecake to accompany the second Lasagna we have in the fridge.
