Super friendly hard working staff here :) :) Camp sites are powered, spaced apart providing decent privacy, and the flush toilet bathrooms with running water sinks were always cleaned regularly! (**some sites have the porta-potty type tank under bathroom - not good when down wind). Huge bonus... Sylvan beach is a five minute drive Definitely coming back for years to come :)

Went there for tent camping in July. The campsites with power are large and easily accommodate two tents and two cars. The campsites without power are also good size for one set. There are trails and you can walk or bike. Playground was nice too. Washrooms were new and very clean but they are far and need long walk. The shower is clean and free. Unlike many other campsites, fire wood is sold in a bundle and we had to buy few bundles for our stay.

Not a bad place for family camping. There is outhouse everywhere (no running water) and they were clean but smelly. There was a central toilet with running water; 6 showering rooms and 4 toilets. Toilet was handicap accessible and had handicap shower and toilet. We were there in 2021 May long weekend at the height of COVID pandemic and the showers were all closed for public use. There are drinking water tap throughout the camp ground. The camping spots were about 100 to 200 meters apart and if you get a noisy and rowdy neighbour, it can be annoying. We were at camp ground 166 and our noisy neighbour were at camp ground 165, and let me tell you, they were very noisy. There were kids with 4 cars and there were at least 10 to 12 people in that camp ground. I guess as long as you pay they do not mind stuffing people in the same ground. Quite time is at 11pm but they were noisy until 10:45pm. It was $79 for 2 nights per tent. There was power at site, 2 north american plug and 1 3 phase looking plug. See picture below. Camp ground sell firewood but you can it cheaper just outside the camp ground. There was a farm selling a bulk of firewood for cad$7.50 a bulk. There is one picnic bench and one fire put. Camp ground was big enough to pitch 4 tents. Overall not a bad stay. If showers were available, it would have been awesome!

Loved camping here. Washrooms are clean, staff are friendly, playgrounds were a hit with the kids. Big plus that they sell ice cream at the check in booth as well. The showers were awesome and had quite a few stalls. The facility seems to be very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Great place for camping except some of the sites at a certain loops are quite close to one another. The running facility with the showers are very clean. Outhouses has a strong odour. The only drawback is that the main gate at the entrance is always open all the time so anyone can enter in and out from the campsite at night. Also I heard last year (2021) during the summer, same time I came here. There were quite a bit of theft going around (stolen items) and a car window broken into. Make sure to lock up your valuable things and not visible for theft to see when leaving your camper/vehicle at the campsite. I felt a little bit unsafe but we made sure we lock up our things since I heard those stories before I went. Hopefully there is security guards now when it’s a busy season. Plus side each site has an electrical hook up.

Spacious large sites, trails are awesome for exploring, washrooms and showers were top notch, clean, running water, flush toilets, luxury away from home. Didn't seem like a provincial park. No real accessible beach that we found without going down a cliff. Firewood bags really small
